Spacious 5-BR Renovated Home-10 min drive to DT

Experience the best of Cincinnati in this spacious & renovated home in charming Gaslight Clifton. With over 2,300 sq ft, 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms (1 flexes as the 5th bedroom), 2 bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, large dining room, & in-unit laundry.

Perfect for groups and multiple families! Sleeping accommodations are: 5 Queen Beds, 1 Twin Day Bed, 1 Rollaway Twin Bed, 1 Queen Air Mattress. Parking for up to 2 cars in carport in addition to free street parking (no driveway parking please)

You`ll enjoy a large 2,300 sq ft renovated home with modern amenities. The large home was converted into a duplex in the 1930’s. The 2nd & 3rd floors of the charming historical building are yours with private entrances via the front porch and back stairwell. Stairs are required for accessing the unit. We have lived in the first floor apartment and travel often, renting the unit on Airbnb frequently. *Please be mindful of noise late/early hours (especially dining room and front stairs) as other guests may be below you. We’ve done everything we can to soundproof, but it is an old home and the noise does still travel.

The Gas Light Clifton neighborhood has old world charm with grand homes with the convenience of being minutes from downtown and all the popular attractions Cincinnati and the greater metro has to offer (see below for travel times).

**This listing has stairs - see photos for front and back stairs leading up to the home. Please inquire about adding the first floor 1 bed apartment for those who may have difficulty with stairs**

With 2 bedrooms and 2 living rooms on each floor (one living room is also designed to flex as a bedroom), the home is perfect for:

Just a 4 minute walk to the bustling Clifton Business district you will find Geater`s Ice Cream, Clifton Market and many bars / restaurants, it will be hard not to fall in love with the neighborhood!

The home has dedicated, central AC & heating on each floor and ceiling fans / table fan in each room for your comfort, regardless of the season. The home has plenty of space to get ready for events, relax for a movie, play games, or share a meal at the large dining room table. 10ft ceilings on the 2nd floor and large windows create an incredibly welcoming space.

*Please do not park in the driveway as you may block someone in staying on the 1st floor who is parked in the carport.

Famous for its working gas street lamps, the oldest of which date back to 1843, this eclectic walking neighborhood features tree-lined streets and a wealth of independent restaurants, boutiques, and essential businesses at its hub on Ludlow Avenue, deemed Cincinnati’s first “Main Street neighborhood.” In addition to its urban charms, the neighborhood is also home to delightful green spaces such as, Mt. Storm Park, Burnet Woods, and the Rawson Nature Preserve.

Historic home architecture in Clifton Gaslight is diverse, including Second Empire, Richardsonian Romanesque, Gothic, Victorian, Arts and Crafts, Tudor, and Colonial Revival styles. Most historic homes were built between 1860 and 1935.

In addition to being one of the few neighborhoods in Cincinnati where a car is not necessary for everyday activity and entertainment, Clifton Gaslight is convenient to downtown, the University of Cincinnati, and expressways.

You have many options -
1. There are restaurants, bars, and the Clifton Market for groceries all within walking distance!
2. There are always plenty of Ubers + Lyfts.
3. You can also easily get around with your own car with plenty of parking options at the home (street, driveway or carport)

There were 9 adults that came to town for a ballgame. I wanted a house we could all stay in and be able to feel at home and comfortable! This was definitely the place! It was so beautiful! Spacious and open! I loved the large rooms and the large dining room table. We all sat around the table and ate like we were at home! I am so happy I found this home for our stay and if we come back for another trip Ill be booking again!
