« Although the room was a little bit tatty , it was very clean . The bed was super comfortable, I slept really well. The staff were lovely. We ate at Cromwells Tap house and the food was delicious. I would definitely stay here again . »

« Chambre au dessus du pub donc très bruyant jusqu a 23h30. Chambre qui donne sur la route bcp de passage. Avons demandé de changer mais pas possible. Pas de cb obligé d aller retirer du cash. La nuit on entend les bruits de frigos. »

« Auberge agréable.Trés bon accueil. Chambres vastes à la décoration plaisante.Salle de bains fonctionnelle. Il faut savoir que l'hôtel est situé le long d'une route fréquentée, ce qui peut être gênant si l'on a une chambre en façade, Bon restaurant. »

« The vaults room where I’ve stayed before is functional everything works and the bed is comfy. It’s in the centre of town and there’s plenty of parking in Shrewsbury. »

« Absolutely no heating, complained two times, said they reset the boiler but still nothing, had to ask a portable heating device, not acceptable for the prixe of the night. Also didn’t get any hot water in the morning »

« We enjoyed a good stay at the hotel. It was well situated for our trip to Malvern Spring Flower Show. The staff were lovely and the food was good pub food. We particularly enjoyed the steak night which was excellent. Breakfasts were tailored to us individually, were well cooked and good sized portions. We will definitely stay here again. »

« The rooms are very comfortable, once you have passed through the hallway. The inn was quiet in the evening and convenient to the Iron Bridge and to the Bedlam furnaces. There are more nice walks across the river. Both the evening meal and the more-than-full English breakfast were excellent! »

We really enjoyed our stay. Car parking across the road in the hotel car park proved very satisfactory and we enjoyed meals in the restaurant. »
