We had a great stay at Williamâs Wish! Shannon, the Property Manager, was absolutely AMAZING. She went above and beyond, meeting us at the airport, guiding us to the grocery store, and escorting us to the property. Throughout our stay, she was just a text away with fantastic recommendations for shopping, dining, and more. The location was excellent, offering beautiful views. While technically within walking distance of some restaurants, be aware that the return trip is uphill! The house was overall clean and well-equipped with everything you could needâwasher, dryer, pool, hot tub, etc. However, most of the linens had an orange-tinted stain, and the pillows were a bit worn. At checkout, we were asked to strip the beds and leave the linens on the floor, which highlighted the need for some fresh replacements. With new pillows and linens, this place would be a perfect 5-star stay! Still, we truly enjoyed our time here and would recommend it.
Property manager, Shannon, met us at Williamâs Wish when we arrived and our check-in was easy. She was quick to respond to our inquiries and was a delight to work with. Williamâs Wish conveniently located and within walking distance to East End Bakery and DeliâŠa must try! The walk back up was a bit more challenging than the walk down but worth it! Thank you Shannon.
The property was great place centrally located with market and local pub within of house. Also, I wanted to say that Shannon was very friendly and accommodating from the minute we checked in. She was very responsive to any questions we had regarding property or things to do and where to go. I would like to work with people like Shannon more often when staying on properties. Cant say enough.
This property is by far our favorite of all the places weâve stayed on St Croix. Great location, awesome views, very comfy. Shannon, the property manager, is the best. And, oh the pool! Loved everything about this place.
This was just an OK property. The building is aged and is showing signs of wear and tear. I rate it 3 out of 5 stars.
Our Host was fantastic and very helpful.
William's Wish is a 5-star property, the view, room's, pool, location. But it was Shannon from Evolve that really makes this experience lux travel. She met us at the airport, lead us to the property and made the whole stay perfect!
If you are looking for an amazing tropical vacation experience Shannon, William's Wish and beautiful St. Croix is your place.
Do you know what I hate about vacation rentals? You just never know. You never know if the pictures and descriptions accurately represent what youâre gonna get, and sometimes thereâs no recourse, no one to help you, no one to complain to - even Abnb/VRBO customer service canât help sometimes. Weâve had some bad experiences in the past: brown Jacuzzi water, stove that didnât work, things promised but never delivered⊠so you can imagine my fear when my wife insisted that we get an Abnb/VRBO so we could have privacy and home cooked meals on vacation.
In this case, however, for the beautiful orange property called Williams Wish, every single one of our expectations were met and exceeded, by far!
You see, I like hotels. I like the fact that there are many people working there that you can use as a resource to get what you need customer service wise. The host for this property is named Shannon, and she was absolute perfection! It felt like I was staying in a hotel, and I was the only guest at that hotel. Shannon was Super responsive, great with communication, offered to pick us up from the airport, and offered to drive us straight to the rental, (which we didnât need, as my brother lives on the island and he picked us up). Instead, we had her meet us at La Reine, which is a famous chicken shack near the airport, where we picked up a bunch of grilled island style chickens for lunch and dinner, and I suggest you do the same because itâs amazing! Shannon met us there and tookâŠ
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property. The property managers Liz and Bill did an excellent job and communicating, giving us recommendations, and were extremely helpful getting us to the property.
The location was great in that it was easy to get into Christiansted and a good central location to get anywhere else on the island. The view is also very nice. However, just a warning that there is a recreation complex directly below the house and it can be very loud and bright. I think it would just depend on what activities are happening. Evidently, softball tournaments between the Virgin Islands would be an example of a loud event!
The house was well stocked with everything we could need in terms of basic necessities, the exception being any kind of soap in the bathrooms, so come prepared.
As mentioned in other posts, the bedrooms have slatted doors so it's not particularly quiet/private which was fine with us, but might be a problem for others.
It's obvious that the house is cleaned between guests, but could definitely use a good deep cleaning. Honestly, this house underperforms from it's potential and a little TLC could really bump it up.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay there.
Liz, the property manager, was great! She and her husband met us at the airport and we followed them to the rental. Liz used walkie talkies to point out the sites and grocery stores. The house is up a hill that starts in Christiansted. There are gas stations and markets at the bottom of the hill, which makes picking up food or drinks easy. Minutes into downtown Christiansted and 30 minutes to Fredericksted. 25 minute drive to Point Udall. The view from the house is breathtaking and the breeze keeps the living room and dining area cool. You can see St. Thomas the BVI on a clear day! There are AC units in all the bedrooms. We made use of the laundry room off the kitchen and the lovely pool. Wifi was good (never went out) and we had power the whole week with no problem. The hot tub was, unfortunately, out of order and we were disappointed. The photos are slightly misleading as the back (two story) portion of the home is not available to guests, nor is the roof top deck as seen in photos (Hurricane Maria took down the railings). Updated photos would give a more accurate portrayal of the outdoors. My only criticism about the rental itself is the wooden slatted doors. This reduces privacy while in the hallway bathroom or either guest bedroom. Maximum privacy is the master suite in the back. If you are not a light sleeper, this is not an issue. Owner accommodated a late check out upon request, which was greatly appreciated. Flowers and palm trees on the property were a lovely, tropical touch. We loved St. Croix and will be back in December!
Really enjoyed the house. Very close to Christiansted and nice central location. Very clean. Felt safe only real complaint would be the quality of the washing machine.
Our family of 4 spent the week of Thanksgiving at Williamsâ Wish. The house is very nicely located near Christiansted. Beautiful views as well! Besides a few minor details, it offers all you need for a perfect family vacation. Bill and Liz were very helpful. We will definitely recommend this home to family and friends.
We had a wonderful stay! The property offers everything that you could want. The pool was great for the kids after the beach or in the morning and the hot tub was nice for the adults to relax in at night. The owners provided tons of beach and bath towels, plus the washer/dryer which was a great convenience. The house is just a few minutes from Christiansted where all of the restaurants are and an easy drive to beautiful beaches. The owners were so nice and very informative. We definitely hope to stay here again!
Stayed here on our babymoon with some friends. Liz was very helpful with check in and suggestions. Property was clean and well stocked. Pool and hot tub worked perfectly. View was awesome. We would stay here again. Extremely relaxing week in this beautiful property.
The house was very clean and had most of what we needed. However it does NOT have central AC - only AC units in the bedroom which can make cooking in the kitchen quite hot. Also, minor, but there are NO wine glasses. Only 3 glass champagne flutes and one plastic flute to use by the pool as glass is understandly not allowed in the pool/hot tub area. We drove to resorts to rent beach charis & umbrella for $10 each which was fine. The surrounding areas around the towns of Christainsted and Fredericksted are very worn out and mostly abandoned homes/buildings - not very pretty at all, but the resorts we visited were very pretty - The Palms and The Bucaneer. Overall, we enjoyed are stay but were surprised by the shape that the island is in since we had previously visited St John which is much more pristine.
We were on St Croix for 1 week installing the new seating at the airport. This was a wonderful house to come home to each evening after a hard days work. The views are amazing and every expectation of the house was exceeded. Liz was very quick to answer any questions we had. The location was perfect as well, being so close to downtown Christiansted. I would definitely recommend this property as a vacation home.
I loved staying at Williamâs Wish! The house was spacious, the pool and hot tub were perfect, and the view was amazing!! Just a tip, it is difficult to stay here without a car, so rent one. The manager was always available to handle any concerns. The house was clean when we arrived and whoever made that bed must have been in the military because those sheets were sharp! Lol I highly recommend this place!!
Beautiful house with a pool, deck and beautiful backyard.
Clean and so comfortable. Close to town of Christiansted and restaurants also in walking distance.
Liz is wonderful. We had some trouble warming the hot tub, but other than that, everything was perfect.
We will definitely try to stay there again.
We had an amazing time on St Croix. Liz met us at the house and showed us everything we needed to know. Quiet neighbourhood, within walking distance to Christiansted.
The pool and hot tub where great.
Would stay again!
We were here for a week for work and this property was perfect! It's close to the grocery store and downtown Christensted. Beautiful views as well. The property manager, Liz, was very attentive and even met us at the airport, which was really helpful in finding our way to the house while driving on the left side of the road for the first time. :-)

Very nice house. Clean and comfortable. Great location to access restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. We made it there just ahead of a hurricane so we did have some time without power but it was exciting.
I highly recommend this house.
