« This was the perfect property for our recent trip to Virginia Tech for our daughter’s graduation. It is easily accessible from 460, making it a great choice for Tech activities. Everything was as advertised with an added surprise gift of freshly baked coffee cake and a lovely hand-illustrated welcome note! « The home is on a finger of Claytor Lake, which was quiet and out of the wind. It is eclectic with kitchen on bottom level and living room area on the second level. You can access both levels independently from the driveway. Overall, comfortable for our needs given the weather wasn't great but we were in town for graduation. »

« The cabin was a great location for a graduation at Roanoke College. The fully stocked kitchen helped us have meals at the cabin instead of eating out. Everything was as advertised! We plan to come back again! »

« Serenity House worked well for our family during VT's spring 2024 graduation. The property is located on a quiet, no wake zone, knob of Claytor Lake. It was the perfect place for fishing and swimming. The home was appropriately advertised. Both the home and decking are older but clean and tidy. « We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our daughter's graduation from VCOM. We rented both Claytor Escape and Green Cape Cottage. We enjoyed the kayak, paddle boards and swimming off the dock. The house was clean and well-stocked. Check in was easy and the host was very responsive. And - the front porch of Claytor Escape is wonderful! »

« What a peaceful place to visit. Wonderful views of the river, which was mere steps from the house. Had everything we needed for a quiet getaway Thanksgiving. My husband, son and dog enjoyed exploring the river and nearby train tracks. An afternoon at VT was a short drive away. Will be back with our kayaks for warm summer fun. Thanks Frank! »
