« Lovely staff, all friendly and proud of the Inns History.
We were there on a very quiet night! Lovely large room with a 4 poster bed and excellent bathroom with walk in shower.
Breakfast beat us, freshly prepared as we came down. »

« It is a quirky place. Looks very plain from the front but was a lovely place to stay. Great service from arrival to departure. Food was superb. After checking out we were on our way to Sunderland when we realised we hadn't tipped the staff so, we turned back and did so. That's how good it was. Will definitely return. »
