« An absolute gem! A wonderful authentic pub offering such comfortable and friendly accommodation. The restaurant food is delicious and the full English breakfast is the best I can remember. « Luxurious room! We splurged for the nicer room and wow! Wonderful staff, good beer selection. We needed to leave early the next morning so the chef packed us a picnic breakfast with lots of fruit, a blt sandwich, crackers and jams and cookies. Ate it on a hill overlooking a field of sheep and the town below. So memorable! »

« The Old Stocks was our favorite stay in the UK despite having stayed at many 5 star hotels. The outside patio is beautiful and relaxing. We loved our breakfast server who showed us a nest with baby doves. The avocado toast was incredible! The location is perfect for hitting all the shops in Stow and for visiting other towns. They have designed the hotel in a way where it has character and a funky modern style. Can’t recommend enough! »
