« Une belle étape pour visiter Oxford et les alentours. Ce petit hôtel traditionnel est à dimension familiale. Personnel très agréable. A l'écoute et très disponible. Repas et petit-déjeuner excellent et copieux. La chambre 1 était parfaite et propre. Une salle de bain spacieuse et un fer et une table à repasser! Très pratique. Calme malgré la proximité de la route. Et une petite court aménagée à l'arrière très mignonne ! Bref, que du bonheur d'avoir découvert et séjourné dans ce charmant hôtel. »

« Wonderful old property, we stayed in our first room for 3 days, the room was very clean but the bathroom was very small with an even smaller shower, the sink was in the room, we had booked a deluxe room but wonder if room 2 actually was one? We stayed in Room No 1, which was an indulgence room on our 4th night which was much better for us, larger bed, which didn't squeak, lovely big bathroom with a huge walk in shower. Breakfast was great,but they ran out of vegetarian sausages on our 2nd...

« Nous avons chercher un hôtel à un prix raisonnable à proximité d'Oxford. Pour 4 personnes, c'est le seul qui proposait un tarif intéressant avec petit déjeuner. Nous avions une voiture et cela facilite les choses ... La proximité du chemin de fer ne nous a pas dérangé car les trains ne passaient pas la nuit. L'accueil est familial. Excellent rapport qualité- prix »

« What a friendly bunch they are at The Old Bell. Clear the new owners and motivated to make this a great spot for all. A truly warm welcome and great chat with the staff; all keen to learn and do things the right way. They really are a credit to the management. Rooms still need a little work, mattress on the bed was not great at all, but everywhere clean and tidy. Would happily stay again when in the area for work. »

« Clean room but in need of refurbishing. Very hot during our visit so appreciated the fan but would have been more comfortable if the windows had opened fully. Good shower pressure and plenty of hot water but shower control face missing. Staff were lovely, very polite and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold offerings. »

« Beautiful 18th Century pub in quiet village location. Taken to room, lovely decor, big bed, bathroom was a little tired. Shower had no hot water when I tried at 4.30pm, thankfully had some the following morning. Had a wonderful night sleep, a shame some kind of breakfast is not included in the price. Welcoming staff and lovely locals. Would I stay again, yes. »
