Nice stay in the core downtown of Chicago. Room is not that big but well furnished and with a cute bathroom. Good mattress, good gym open 24/7. Everything is walking distance. Recommended.

Bel hôtel, très propre, très bien situé. Par contre, la nourriture offerte pour le déjeuner est immangeable. Ils devraient au moins avoir un grile-pain, du pain et des fruits frais. Tout était emballé dans du plastique, donc beaucoup de gaspillage.

L'emplacement très bon. Mais pas de resto à l'intérieur, pas de piscine, à notre arrivée la boîte de sécurité ne fonctionnait pas mais a été réparé rapidement.

My stay was okay. The carpet wasn’t the cleanest, but considering its hotel with lots of traffic. The only downfall is the property only had 1 microwave to use and you aren’t able to use it after 9pm.

Bunch of people talking outside of their rooms. Called guest services and they could only respond if music was playing. I think a group of women screaming, chatting, yelling, and laughing for 4 hours until 4 am warrants some intervention. Otherwise a great stay.

Was very surprised to find that the window was tiny. I paid $700 for 3 nights and I didn’t expect a city view but I expected a nice big window. The advertising is extremely misleading as the window was tiny and it made the room feel extremely congested. If I knew this fact I would’ve 100 percent booked another hotel. This was extremely disappointing for a hotel chain like the Hyatt.

The hotel was in a great location and the staff was friendly. I liked the 24hr front desk I felt safe an comfortable. I enjoyed my stay, and would definitely recommend and book again. Although, there was some damge to the wall behind the door and a smug or two of the wall, but nothing crazy.

This is my second stay at the property and I would return. Location is terrific and the room is clean. I really enjoy “The Corner” on the 3rd floor for a good cup of coffee. My only criticism of the room is that there is not much comfortable seating. There is only one chair and it’s low back and very uncomfortable. A high backed chair would be nice.

I did not like that upon entry we were never greeted. The floors in the room were sticky felt dirty. I was locked out of my room when I went to get ice (my purse was in there) and when I went to the front desk and told them my key didn’t work (I handed him the key) he told me I needed ID. I told him it was in the room. He said that he would have to go with me to the room to get it. He walked me to the elevator stepped in, then stepped out and saw me into the elevator and handed me a key. When I got to the room the key didn’t work. This didn’t make any sense this is the same person who was there when I checked in. So I went back down and a different staff member gave me a valid key and not the one that I brought down that was given back to me earlier. They were also asked for the fourth time if someone would clean the hallway which was nastily covered with garbage after exiting the elevator, which was partially done finally a day later after a 6th request. For a Hyatt to have very little regard for cleanliness, customer service/care, and comfort, it surprises me. But then again I haven’t stayed at one since I was held up in another one down the road at gun point near the stairway on the 22nd floor.

The Hyatt Centric is a hidden gem in the heart of downtown Chicago. I know I sound like an ad right now but I was very pleased with my stay. They have a cool 3rd floor lounge as well as a chic rooftop lounge. The rooms are nice as well.
