Relax by the fire pit and watch the sun set over the pond and golf course! If you like birdwatching, we have amazing great blue herons, osprey, and the occasional bald eagle. Ride bikes into downtown Chestertown and enjoy the local restaurants, bars and events at the waterfront! You won't want to leave this oasis!

Mid May Weekend Visit to Chestertown.
We enjoyed our stay here. Easy walking distance to town. Loved the Saturday Farmer's Market despite the rain. Would recommend to any families wanting an escape. Or two or three couples traveling together.

Renovated cottage in a beautiful setting
Waking up to the beautiful view on a fall day was wonderful! Super easy check in with a door code and a nice welcome bottle of wine! We just wished we could have stayed longer! We will return!

Relaxing family getaway
The property is beautiful with all of the amenities you need but it is need of a deep cleaning and the showers need upgrading. When we arrived aesthetically it looks beautiful inside, as we started to utilize the kitchen we realized that most of the drawers, cabinets and pots and pans were really dirty. There were dead bugs, hair and food particles in many of the cabinets. I’m sure there are cleaning people that go in after you leave but they aren’t doing a very good job. Also the rugs in the bathrooms had hair and lint all over them. The comforter in the bedroom to the left upstairs was full of stains, I actually washed all of them so I didn’t have to feel gross using them for the 5 days we were there. The 2 bathrooms upstairs are pretty but not very practical, they are large areas but both shower heads are difficult to rinse yourself and the bathroom to the right was shooting water at the top. A handheld would be a nice addition. All in all it was a very relaxing and inviting house it just needs a little bathroom love and proper cleaning. Chestertown itself is a quaint town but beware not much is open during the week.

Exactly as advertised!
This property was perfect for what we wanted. The inside of the house was immaculate and looked exactly like the pictures on VRBO. We used the back patio each evening, building a fire, watching the sun go down, and enjoying the herons. We walked to town in the mornings for a cup of coffee. Overall - a great house in a very good location.

Perfect location
Had family in town for my son's graduation. Location was great. Back patio was the perfect spot to relax. Pond had tons of activities with the birds and fish. Grilling was easy. The interior of the home was better than the pictures. Will definitely return!

Gorgeous Stay in Chestertown
The property is just gorgeous! We came to stay in Chestertown to view vacation homes, and we couldn't have stayed in a more beautiful home. The home was so clean and the finishes are top notch. If we don't find the perfect vacation home for us, we will definitely be staying here again and again! You can just sit and stare at the beautiful waterview all day long!

The place is just beautiful! We all felt right at home. Everything was just perfect. We hope to make it back next year for the next reunion. Ment to be- Gunton School reunion, our mascot is a heron :)
