Le spa est excellent, moderne, propre et agréable. La chambre bien mais sans plus, le restaurant bon, un peu cher mais le decor est super.

We were at a wedding. Stay over and breakfast. Staff made everything run smoothly and professional. Food was excellent and well presented i would say everyone had a great time thanks Ringwood.

The room was a little dated, lovely corner bath but the jets weren’t working on it, no shower in the room which would have been handy. Lovely 4 poster bed, but the mattress was way too soft. Restaurant was lovely and the quality of the food was great. We used the spa and the gym the following day, the spa was very modern, great facilities and very clean.

This place has an air of grubbiness about it. The toilet rim in our suite was absolutely filthy. I doubt it has ever been cleaned. In the public toilets, neither me nor my wife managed to find a soap dispenser with any soap in it. I reported this on the he first day. On the second day, the bar was closed. Breakfast... It appeared to me that things like sausages and bacon were dramatically overcooked and appeared to have been reheated. There were no fried eggs. On the plus side, the evening food was good. We won't be staying again.

Awful place awful staff more like a 1 star then 4 star stay away much nicer hotels in the Chesterfield area such as casa hotel !!!!

Faulty Towers comes to Chesterfield
Faulty Towers comes to Chesterfield. Dated beyond belief the furniture, the carpets, the plumbing, the smell. If you are looking to slum it for a night then this is for you. The bath taps didn’t work, the shower was a trickle out a pipe and the smell of the room was unbearable. Honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I booked a superior room. Needs knocking down and rebuilding

Amazing Find
Amazing hotel where staff could not do enough for you, special shout out to Oliver who was so helpful! they even opened the bar just for us! The hotel was close to all local amenities and you must try the local Indian! The locals were very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble.

Almost perfect
Almost perfect stay. The spa, the restaurant and the overall hospitality were all excellent. The only down sides were the bathroom which was tired with a leaky shower and pipes, and the mattress was so far too soft for our liking. Overall though I would definitely stay here again as the spa was clean and comfortable with all the facilities working, and the food in the restaurant was so delicious.

Nice Hotel
Lovely hotel. We stayed in a dog friendly room which was a bit tired. Water pressure was poor so shower not great. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast but the hot food was only luke warm.

Great Stay!
My Stay at the Ringwood hotel was brilliant. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the rooms were nice and clean. My only negative was the walls were pretty thin, so when people moved around it did wake me up. However, this wasn't enough to ruin my trip. Would certainly stay again should I visit chesterfield.

Het hotel heeft een prachtige ligging en is van vroeger uit een herenhuis geweest. De stijl is ook grotendeels behouden gebleven. Het personeel is hartstikke vriendelijk. Jammer dat de kamers zo gedateerd zijn. Ontbijt en diner zijn prima. Dinerkaart mag wel wat worden uitgebreid.

Nice Hotel. Spa separate.
Booked a short notice night 2 days before thinking dinner and Spa in the day. Disappointed on arrival to find the spa fully booked for both days and not even able to use the pool for an hour. Not clear when booking this would be the case so left disappointed on the whole.

Not the best….
The room we stayed in was very tired with stains on the carpet & the bed was 2 pushed together so there was an obvious dip in the middle! The room was also a very long way away from the rest of the hotel along very dated corridors. Then at 7am the next morning the staff were moving metal trolley around & woke us up!

Cold atmosphere. Heating in the room did not work and was provided with a heater. Generally, a little ‘tired’ in appearance. Breakfast was average. Waiting staff were pleasant and helpful.

SPA NOT INCLUDED
I booked the stay through Hotels.com and it appeared the spa was included. Disappointingly I got an email to say that it wasn’t. I tried to refund but it was a nonrefundable reservation. That said the stay was really enjoyable. The staff were really lovely from start to finish. The food was excellent and the room comfortable. I will definitely stay again and hopefully use the spa next time.

Be aware, Spa is not included in your price!
We selected this hotel as lovely sauna with jacuzzi was advertised on the website. Please note that Spa is not included in the price and you would have to pay extraordinary £78 for two people to use these facilities!!! Of course treatments would be additional extras, so very expensive sauna indeed! Very disappointing indeed. If we were not mislead by the website, we would stay in another 4* hotel which was £20 cheaper.

Not the greatest
Some of the rooms are bit of a distance from the main reception. Signage and lighting is poor to see where your going. Restaurant I thought the food was below average and the service was poor. Would I stay her again. Unfortunately not

A beautiful break away.
An enjoyable short break at Ringwood Hall Hotel. It's in a beautiful location with plenty of parking spaces. The local bus service is a very short distance away so we can leave the car behind. Going into Chesterfield is easy. We have not yet used many of the hotel's facilities, but this break away serves our purpose for relaxing and finding time to stop the pace of life and enjoy just being "us"!

Greta hotel,with beautiful grounds
Great hotel with beautiful gardens. Evening meal had limited menu but quality of food was great. Breakfast also very good. Ample parking. Very friendly staff. Our room was well decorated with huge 6ft bed, but the ensuite was a bit tired with one of the towel radiator brackets broken and the bath/shower had a little bit of mould on the grout, probably due to the room having so window or extractor fan though this didn't affect our stay.

It was our 20th wedding anniversary and we got married at Ringwood Hall. We had a stroll round the grounds, lots of memories of a happy day. We stayed in the Potting Shed which was a short walk from the main building. It was clean and in beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed our stay very much.
