I booked this night away for my partners birthday, and I am writing to express how disappointed I was with the quality of the stay for the amount of money I paid for a luxury, ‘ 4*’night away. When we arrived, we did so to two sets of different couples complaining about different things which automatically put me on the back foot. Upon receiving the key for our room, I asked if there was a fridge to which the answer was no, and nothing could be accommodated, and the facilities in the room were less than satisfactory.
The bathroom mats and towels smelt, the bad was uncomfortable and the whole room was dusty. I rang down to reception 3 times, there was no answer each time. We then came down and there was a queue of about 8 people and didn't have the time to stand in it and express our dissatisfaction. I also received an email today 'ahead of our stay' wishing us well, a day late.
