« Amazing stay in this gorgeous house! Photos don’t do it justice, so spacious and they have thought of everything for your stay. Incredibly comfy beds, great communication from the host and a fantastic location. A quiet rural area but 15 mins to Chester. Could not recommend this place enough! Thanks for a great stay. »

« Fantastic property. Paul was great from the start, promptly messaging after booking and replying to any queries. He was most accommodating for everything, even provided a welcome basket and all essentials were available, including cutlery and dishes.Throughly enjoyed the hot tub and the deep soaking bath.An amazing property, that we would definitely choose again. »

« Good location - on a working farm with lots of animals but also lots of safe areas for children to play - cottage clean and comfortable as listed - lots to do locally - good pubs and eating places in and around Malpas - nice area for cycling »

« Great house, amazing location. We had a wonderful stay. Any issues were resolved very quickly. Only thing to be improved would be that I had to request the full address and check-in instructions, rather than them just being provided without prompting. We also had a lack of bedding for the sofa bed, but this was resolved quickly. »

« In a good area, close to city . Parking spot was a bonus. Attention to détail needed, no rubbish bags and waste bin outside totally full. No complimentary toiletries as stated in details. No towels or bedding for 5 th person. Garden, the grass needed cutting. Small things that could be easily done toiletries improve stay. »

« Loved the rural setting and the ducks and horses. Perfect for a weekend break or longer. Thanks!! »

This is a getaway at the edge of Chester where the rural countryside begins. It is very clearly what it says in the ad. Look at the photos, they tell you all you need to know, A lovely bottle if prosecco and a bag of snacks greeted us. Wonderful! A tip to any other visitor: local cab/taxi drivers and their dispatchers need help with the street address. One advised us: tell...

« Photos of listing didnt really show off the full features of the property? but I took a chance as it was a great price for the dates I wanted. It’s basic in terms of design but I can confirm it has everything that you’d need to survive your stay! 2 good sized bedrooms. Beds were a little springy but we slept through. I’d suggest that fans be made available for warm weather time as it got a little stuffy at night. The random strips of wallpaper placed around the property were a quirky feature,...
