Staying on the water is a world apart from any hotel experience, The rustic charms and quirks of narrowboat living and the sense of community with other boat dwellers made it special. « Property was clean, pictures advertised where exact, host was attentive and fixed problems right away, kept us informed and checked in to make sure we had every try ing. Offered a free night and bottle of wine when they couldn’t fix the power outage even though it wasn’t their fault. Security on site at night, grocery store a close 5min walk at the most.
