« Excellent, clean property. It did need some more kitchen items (like a cutting board, more than three cups and plates, etc.). Also, not a deal breaker, but the tree in the backyard is infested with spotted lantern flies and they dripped honey dew (a maple syrup-like all substance they excrete). Our car was covered in it, and needed a car wash because the windows were hard to see out of. Still, the state of RI will take care of this. Other than that, excellent host, excellent stay. « This review is strictly based on my personal experience staying at this Rhode Island apartment. The listing is accurate regarding what is provided: the unit was spotlessly clean, and the two bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen matched the description completely. However, the listing feels incomplete because key details about living in the space were left out.Slanted FloorsAs an older house that has settled, the third-floor apartment has a noticeable slant. The unlevel floors left me feeling...

« The automatic information sent about the property was detailed and sent on time. I sent a couple of inquiries asking if there were extra towels or blankets and those inquiries went unanswered. The apartment was very clean and the sheets were soft. If you enjoy a hard mattress, this is perfect for you. Bed was too hard for me and I had to get up in the middle of the night to stretch because it was painful. Rest of my family also found the beds to be too hard to be comfortable. Soundproofing of...

Hotel Providence

8/10 Bien

"The hotel is very nice and well located downtown. Unfortunately, when I arrived late at night after difficult travels, the elevator was out of service and I had been booked into a room on the 7th and top floor. I had a lot of luggage because I was in the middle of a very long trip, and the thought of lugging it upstairs was not pleasant. In the end, I was able to take a service elevator to the fifth floor, and then only had two double flights of stairs to make it to the seventh floor. One of the front desk ladies, Antinette, kindly went up with me and helped bring my luggage up those stairs. She was a lifesaver. The following morning, the manager, Brad, comped my breakfast. The food was delicious and is highly recommended. Also, the elevator was fixed by the time I got up, so bringing my luggage downstairs was very easy. Gorgeous old staircase."
