Excellent hotel but noise with air condition
All are perfect in this hotel : food, breakfast, rooms, view on all the city, staff is nice. Only problem was the air condition. When i stopped the air condition i could hear engine noise. But A/C is working fine. Decoration also is so nice. I will come back for sure.

Magnifique chambre renové Hotel renove en juin 2016 semble t'il. Dejeuner extraordinaire ( inclut dans le prix de notre chambre) Évidemment le prix de la biere est a la hauteur 8$ ttc, ce qui est normal Donc aller ailleurs acheter la biere et ou alcool Piscine sur le toit tres correct pour le look mais peux invitante pour la baignade, le toit servant principalement de salle a manger le soir! Plus decoratif que fonctionnel

Excellent séjour au Raintree St Mary s Road
Nous avons passé la nuit du 31 décembre au Raintree et nous avons été plus que satisfait. Le service a été excellent, le personnel toujours disponible pour vous aider. Le dîner et le petit déjeuner, tous deux en buffet, étaient bons et copieux. Contrairement à d'autres hôtels de chaîne, c'est un hôtel plus personnalisé et on s'y vraiment à l'aise. Quartier calme avec des restaurants à proximité, 10 min d'Express Avenue Mall, 20 min de Marina Beach. Les vrai plus sont la piscine et le bar sur le rooftop.

hôtel en travaux
Nous avions fait le choix de cet hôtel sans être prévenus par Expédia que l’hôtel était en travaux (gros travaux). Les 3 premiers étages subissent les marteaux piqueurs de 9h à 18h et les perceuses et autres marteaux se relaient jusqu'à 20h. Le staff à la réception, dès notre arrivée, nous a mis au courant de cet inconvénient. Ils nous ont même proposé de nous transférer à Raintree Anna Salai. Incrédules et surtout nous avions déjà séjourné à Anna Salai 15 jours auparavant, nous avons décidé de rester sur place. 24h catastrophiques, car vos oreilles et votre corps sont imprégnés par les vibrations des murs travaillés aux outils de démolition, obligés de rester à l’extérieur de l’hôtel. Nous avons décidé de déménager le lendemain à celui d'Anna Salai. Le quartier n'est par aussi sympa que celui de St Mary's mais que faire ? Notre séjour était payé ...

Bonne impression générale avec des employés attentifs au moindre de vos désirs et très réactifs. Seul bémol, il y avait des travaux dans la chambre située au-dessous de la notre et nous avons eu droit aux bruits de marteaux et perceuses dès 9 h le matin. Pas top après avoir débarqué de l'avion à 2 h du mat. Sinon, hôtel super correct avec piscine agréable sur le toit et belle terrasse où on peut prendre un pot et dîner

Loved this hotel! We got a lot of room for our money due to the exchange rate. Our accommodations and the hotel property were beautiful and comfortable. Most of all we felt safe and quickly learned we could eat or drink anything at the hotel. There are three restaurants, but we only made it to two. We ate at those two several times and had great meals. The breakfast buffet at The Colony had changing options and lots to offer. They had both Indian and continental basics made to order also included. Above Sea Level at night had great ambience and a view of Chennai with stellar food to go with it. The rooms included plenty of bottled water that was actually fresh and sealed—not that we needed it for brushing teeth but it was nice to have for daily excursions in the heat. Other hotels in India that we stayed at filled up glass bottles with (presumably) tapwater. Depending on the hotel, that might be fine, but it might not. It’s a more intimate boutique hotel but they offered everything you could need: a small gym, pool and business area as well as room service and laundry services. The staff was friendly and attentive. They are award-winning for a reason!

The Property was super clean and room service was top notch. Greeted with a welcome drink and some treats on my check-in. Buffet Breakfast was fantastic and the service by the staffs were great. The front desk staffs are amazing especially Uma and Ritu for their assistance. Karthick from the Room Service was very helpful. Overall, my Stay was excellent.

I love everything about this hotel. This will be the third consecutive visit to Chennai during which I've stayed at the Raintree on St Mary's Road. I have no plans to stay anywhere else in the future. The reception staff is amazing-- all of them, but I want to escpecially cite Ritu and Uma. Their care and gentility is something that makes the place so special. In housekeeping I want to say that Karthick was stellar.

Quite an Amazing service in this Hotel
Hotel breakfast was a good spread, with some new dishes changing daily over the course of my 6 days there. Restaurant staff were very helpful. Rooms were nice and spacious. Check-in/out process was smooth. Concierge and reception staff were very helpful. Location wise was quite ok for us cos we took Uber everywhere. Mostly everywhere we went was within 30mins including T nagar, airport, Pondy bazaar. There was this particular counter staff by the name of Ritu who went out of her way to help arrange some logistics for us even though she didn’t need to. Commendable indeed.
