This is my second time staying here. The staff and service is the best! The rooms are clean, modern, and well kept. The food selection and staff are great. The waiter by the name Lar, as well as all the other wait staff was phenomenal!

Enjoyed our stay at Ramada in Chennai. The staff members at this hotel (Dinesh at the front desk and Food Service manager and staff) were very attentive, courteous and showcased very good customer service. Their continental buffet had a variety of choices - and the food items that we were especially impressed with were the warm phulka, aloo paratha and mixed vegetable bajee. The rooms were also spacious with a great city view. The only thing I would point out for improvement is that there was a strong smell (could be from a cleaning agent) in the corridors and a musky smell within the room at times which was noticeable. But, overall - very positive experience.

The rooms are large, well-laid out and clean. Hotel has a sterile feel to it and service is very uneven in the restaurants. Reception services also uneven. Website says there is airport shuttle, but there isn't. The hotel will arrange a taxi for which you pay.

Dette er en sovemaskin. Så upersonlig som det er mulig å klare å få det til. Servicen er god, men så innlært og overfladisk at det er smertefullt å være vitne til. Hele hotellet bærer preg av en totalt umoderne måte å drive hotell på idag. Det er rent, det er ordentlig, det er gode senger, rommene store. Men alt er slitt, virkelig nedslitt, men det virker. Selv med et utmerket renhold virker det skittent. Frokosten er utmerket, men blir litt trist med det totale fraværet av personlig engasjement. Unntaket er damen som besørger de varme drikker. Hun har skjønt og viser at det går an å ha det trivelig på jobb... Dette må gis applaus.... God aircondition Urelevante TV kanaler om en ikke er fra India.

I had to change 3 rooms. All rooms are smelling bad and hotel staff themselves agreed and changed 3 rooms in first two hours of check in. This property is not 5 start hotel.

Property is not maintained, chipped off floor, cracked sink, carpet is not clean or fresh. No upgraded amenities. I would like to down grade to 2star, paid 4star price for a tea RS 400 and rent price. Ramada is lot better than this hotel

It is in a safe area, has a nice restaurant and a few minutes walk from other restaurant. The room and bathroom was comfortable and clean. The bathroom could use some extra cleaning to remove lime accumulation in the bathroom. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

Good for the price but some limitations
This hotel is comfortable, clean but a bit soul-less. The roof-top area is nice and has some atmosphere with a decent pool and good outdoor restaurant next to it. Main issue is the complex lighting systems with bathroom lights activated automatically and these can be seen in bed room from bathroom. Spent ages trying to turn everything completely off. Just simple light switches would be better. While bed was quite comfortable, the linen felt cheap and the pillows and mattress felt like rubber. Understand efforts to be enviro-friendly but just one bath-towel and one face-towel made the bathroom feel cheap and not a five-star experience. Glass bottles, and not plastic, for drinking water is great. No soap or shampoo for bath, only bubble-bath (waste)! But piping hot water, which was great. Breakfast was fine. Very good value overall but not sure I'd stay again.

The property was ok but on arrival they had messed up and given my room to someone else with a similar name and were not apologetic about it and in fact had an I do not care attitude. The receptionist was very slow and inefficient and we had to literally wait 25 minutes for check in. The residential areas were a little musty. The room was not appropriately stocked. One towel for three people. The utility kits were also not there. The food in room service was poor quality. Overall room service was slow and poor. The actual restaurant/ dining facility was better but definitely needed improvement as far as the quality of the food was concerned. Location was convenient to reach different places in Chennai being kind of centrally located. My experience left a lot to be desired

Check out process is not quick. They first check your room prior to checkout which delays the process. Dining room coordinator Guru was biased and helped only Tamil speaking people. He made me to change seat during me having breakfast for no apparent reason and only catered to Tamil speaking guests and ignored others. Other staff were very courteous and helpful.

Two-day stay on business trip.
Had a 2-night stay for a business trip. The room was clean, spacious, and well-stocked. I had the opportunity to try out Extase - worked well for my meeting. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with excellent South Indian fare. Great stay overall. Will recommend this to others who plan to visit this part of the world.
