Another Great Stay At This Cabin
We have stayed at this VRBO a number of times and have always found it to be a great cabin with everything we needed. Love the patio around the fire pit and the supply of wood in the horse trailer. This location is wonderful for bird watching.

It is a beautiful property! While we didnt spend a lot of time at the cabin (out exploring) the time we did spend there was cozy and very comfortable!

Could not have been better. Everything was exactly as Ad stated. Owner was very cordial and helpful. Was a little hesitant to rent from VRBO after a very disappointing rental last May. Took a chance and was the correct decision

Awesome cabin
Great secluded location and beautiful cabin inside and out. Spotless! Bathroom on the main floor despite the bedrooms on 2nd floor did not deter us and the steps and handrail were solid. Loved discovering the trails on the grounds. Kitchen was fully stocked. We loved the wood stove and used it nightly. Would definitely stay here again!

A great getaway
The cabin was clean, neat, peaceful, and cozy. It was a perfect getaway trip. Troy was very welcoming and kind. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Heritage Hideaway! Hopefully we can come back in near future.

This is our second time here, and we both absolutely loved it! The location is very central to the local small towns in the area, yet quiet and secluded. We spent more time sitting outside and enjoying the sounds of nature. The hostess is very accommodating and we were able to buy fresh eggs from her. The kitchen was well stocked with tools and appliances, as we did some cooking as well. A truly relaxing experience was had!

Peaceful Retreat
Heritage Hideaway is a perfect place to relax. The cabin is comfortable and includes everything one needs. Multiple outdoor seating areas--two decks, the patio, the firepit area, and the swing on the bluff's edge add to the peaceful atmosphere. It is convenient to the Root River Trail, several state parks, and small towns worth exploring.

The perfect hidden hideaway!
We stayed here a few days during the summer to get away from the busy cities and it was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed and we enjoyed the outdoor swing looking out at the view! We will definitely be back!

Great weekend stay
I took my dad and my kids to this cabin for a quick weekend of stargazing, as my dad has a portable observatory good for taking pictures of galaxies, globular clusters, etc. The cabin itself was wonderful, with everything we needed, and it was very clean. The surrounding property was exactly what we needed, with clear views of the night sky, just as the pictures promised. The kids loved exploring the area, and we even made a trip into Lanesboro for lunch and ice cream. A good, quiet weekend. Thanks!

A Hidden Gem
The Heritage House was perfect. Great location, easy drive to historic Lanesboro to enjoy biking, canoeing, live theater at the Commonweal and everything else the town has to offer. We loved the house. They have everything we needed and enjoyed the sunrises, sunsets, making dinner and unplugging for a few days. We will definitely be back again.

Not for seniors but still lovely
Great place for relaxation and unique setting. Being seniors our biggest concern were stairs that really didn’t have adequate handrail for easy confident movement especially coming down at night for bathroom. Guess this place ideally set for younger people.

Good central base location for the area’s many great trout streams
I spent the three days fishing with old college friends. Cabin is secluded and has all amenities including heat/ac + wood stove and internet. It’s on a hilltop so the views are excellent, but it is surrounded by trees that provide a good wind break. Firepit has a table and seating for 4 with firewood provided. Standard-size charcoal grill has a propane starter. Kitchen with gas stove is complete. The three upstairs queen beds are very comfortable and separated by fabric curtains. The single full bathroom is down on the main floor. Laurie and Troy were attentive hosts and visited us on check-in day. Very comfortable stay!

Beautifully scenic and peaceful retreat
This lovely little cabin was just what I hoped for, and more. It is VERY remote with a gorgeous view of the valley below. The owners were very kind and checked in the next morning to make sure all was well. From the wood stove to the cozy beds, this cabin truly made my stay the best it could be.

Relaxing, secluded Hideaway vacation.
This was our second stay at the Heritage Hideaway. It was another relaxing stay at this secluded property. The owners had mad a number of improvements to the outdoor space to make the already wonderful experience even better. The fire pit area has been improved and now also includes new, very nice outdoor furniture. Watching the eagles soaring over the valley was an added bonus this year. The property is as described in the listing. We will be coming back again next year.

It was an idyllic setting in every way. Beautiful setting, overlooking farm fields and cattle grazing nearby. Weather also cooperated so we could enjoy the outdoor patio as well. Lanesboro Adventures
I have been coming to Lanesboro ever 2 years as it is one of my favorite places for a weekend getaway. This is our first time staying here and it was wonderful! The cabin and grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The cabin makes an easy basecamp to go all around the area doing fun things. We will be staying here again in the future!
