« The staff could not have been more helpful, I had to be admitted to hospital yesterday evening and my partner called the hotel who were so kind and understanding when it transpired that my belongings might need to be set aside.
the lady who staffed the breakfast serving was so patient and smiley giving terrific customer service.

« Came to stay for one last decent sleep before download festival and it didnt disappoint. Beautiful scenery overlooking the canal, the owners were very friendly, breakfast delicious and the room was so cute! Will be returning again next year »

« Spent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh!
We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced....

L'hotel est accueillant, très propre et les chambres sont confortables avec tout le nécessaire et surtout spacieuses. « Hôtel bien situé pour une étape. Il est proche de la M1 mais calme et dans la verdure.Les tarifs des repas sont plutôt élevés. Le petit déjeuner est carrément hors de prix. La jeune femme à l'accueil n'est pas du tout souriante et accueillante. Elle n'a fait aucun effort pour se faire comprendre et ralentir ses explications. Heureusement le lendemain matin les autres personnes étaient beaucoup plus chaleureuses et attentives. »
