Second time there, for a week each time. Excellent hotel: perfect location between the downtown mall and the Main Street of CV. Free car park, good breakfast. Super clean rooms in excellent condition. Low noise from the street.

Très bel hôtel
L’hotel est bien situé : pas loin de l’université en voiture ou en bus et tout près de Downtown Mall (quartier piétons) où l’on peut aller à pied et dîner en terrasse. Les chambres sont grandes et confortables. Le personnel est accueillant.

At close to $600 per night, I would think they could clean toe rooms every day rather that every other. We checked in to a clean room on Friday and checked out Sundasy-no cleaning

Great location to restaurants, shops and sights. Spacious room with a full fridge in the kitchen part. Also dish washing supplies if needed. Breakfast was included which you don’t often get in hotels these days. Friendly staff. Very clean.

We are in the process of getting all new bedding for the hotel. We have already received a lot of it and are in the process of getting it into all of our rooms. Manager getting upset when pointing out flaws in the rooms in spite of communicating it in the most polite way possible. They offered a room in which the smell of food was quite unpleasant to say the least and where fresh stains were all over the couch in particular. Instead of getting apologies by pointing it out, she was clearly annoyed which frankly made me uneasy. We ended up in a normal 1 bed room with my family of 4 and no reimbursement for the price difference was offered. We still enjoyed our time since Charlottesville and its surroundings is very pleasant. We were a bit squeezed in the room but at least it was clean.

Stay was wonderful. Hotel is very nice, clean & comfortable & in a great location. The only disappointment was the items requested upon booking (& noted on my reservation upon check in) were not taken care of & a call to housekeeping was still necessary.

The gentlemen at the desk Saturday early morning saw that I was stressed that the coffee pot was empty in the lobby. By the time I pulled my car around (5 minutes...) to pick up my family, he had it refilled. Appreciate the little things and the attentiveness of this front desk staff!

All the staff was friendly and the room was amazing. Bed was very comfortable. I also loved the large shower. The free breakfast was really good and staff was super.

What I didn't like about our stay is that when we opened the door to our room, there were other people already occuping the room. The staff couldn't understand why this happened. We were given a different room, near the ice machine :-( No flavored creamer like other locations for coffee.

Pet fee was not clearly stated on expedia and was big surprise when i arrived at the hotel… staff was understanding but would be helpful to clearly understand expenses before driving 4 hrs and have no options on arrival

Good, could’ve been a bit better for the price
Staff was very friendly. The room was nice and spacious but the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. One light fixture was missing a light bulb and the extenders to close one set of the blinds were not on the blinds but sitting on the floor against the wall next to them - we had to reattach them ourselves to be able to close the blinds. Breakfast was ok, eggs were soggy and no bacon. The hotel was very quiet which was appreciated. Location was good. Parking is $10/day.
