Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I had a wonderful anniversary trip here. The location is great - quiet and peaceful, yet close to town. We loved watching the deer (even two little babies) on the property and relaxing in the pool. The cottage was perfect for the two of us! Steve was also a great communicator. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Lovely quiet place to stay!

I have stayed here twice! I love the quiet and the suite is very comfortable! I love the bunnies and the deer! The outside pool and seating with the hot tub are awesome! I will stay here again! Steve, the host, is very nice and accommodating. Thank you Steve!

This is an amazing property! I had a family issue come up that required a major change in plans, but I will never forget the beauty of this place! You feel so far away, but you are actually very close to town.Highly recommend! You won't be sorry!

This was a wonderful, peaceful stay 
 our second stay here. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, patio area and watched the beautiful sunset. Loved the bottle of wine 
 nice touch. The only negative was the microwave. A previous guest exploded something in it and didn’t clean it up, Steve’s cleaning crew missed it and I ended up cleaning it. Other than that, we’ll probably stay here again.

Quaint and quiet. I was really looking forward to using the hot tub listed. But it wasn’t near the room and it was February, once exiting 105 degrees water, walking out and around the facility was not an option.During our stay there was a shortage of hot water in the unit.The room was clean, the ceiling low, we are short but still managed to occasionally bump our heads.The grounds are gorgeous..

Great location

Spent weekend with daughter after having driven furniture from MI to her new apartment. Loved the location, host recommended some really great food venues 
 delicious. Will definitely stay there again, but in the unit downstairs 
 got tired of hitting head on slanted ceiling! 😳

Wonderful property!

The grounds are so beautiful and the pool area is amazing! We wished we could have stayed longer than our 2 night trip we had planned. The host had so many considerate, helpful items added - from pool towels to lanterns to extra charging stations and fans... he has thought of everything! We had a wonderful experience.

What a treat!

We went to Charlottesville for a wedding and found this rental near the venue - and it could not have been more perfect! The apartment itself was very comfortable (really comfortable bed!) and the property is amazing. Beautiful pool, dedicated hot tub, and views for days. I wish we had more time to enjoy it all - guess we'll just have to go back!

A little slice of paradise

Thoughtful attention was given at every turn on this gorgeous property; The gardens, pool area, private jacuzzi hot tubs for each cottage, propane fire pits, beautiful private entrances with sitting areas and even motion lanterns to light your way if taking an evening stroll along the many quaint winding pathways. Exceeded our expectations. Beautifully done! Plus the dining and entertainment recommendations from Steve were stellar! We will definitely be staying here again!!!

Breath of fresh air

We were welcomed on our arrival by the host, Steve. Throughout our stay he continued to be a welcomed presence, offering dining suggestions and good conversation. Great Get Away

The property was amazing. We took walks and never left the farm. There are deer and birds and flowering trees. It was beautiful and relaxing. The pond is stock with fish and they bite. The mattress was excellent and the bedding was new. There was coffee and wine waiting for us and plenty of bathroom supplies. Very comfy and convenient. The owner knows the area and he was very helpful.
