« Our little family of three (my partner, myself, and our 2.5 year old child) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We used a pack-and-play upstairs and our child slept beautifully. We appreciated the many amenities and, honestly, you won't find a better location than this. Walk down the hill and you're at a playground and the beach. Or walk 5 minutes and you're in the heart of downtown Charlevoix. Note for the really tall people out there: the ceilings are lower than average, so if you're over 6' 2"...

« We were looking for a place to stay for a few nights near torch lake and we definitely booked the right place! The highlight of our trip was renting a pontoon and going to see the sand bar on torch lake. We really didn’t have much of a plan after that, because our stay was limited, so we messaged the host and she was more than helpful offering many suggestions! We went on an adventure to see the sand dunes and visited transverse city. The cottage had everything that we needed and was very clean!...

« Modernized. Clean. Comfortable beds/furniture. Clarify ‘directions’. Name of road not on any street signs. Actually is the highway (add that info!). Drove by x 2 looking for crossroad; property drive RIGHT OFF (two line) highway. Much traffic noise, daytime. Good restaurant across street. Group of cabins on pretty inland lake. One property building is ‘fish cleaning house’, so must be good fishing, here. 🐟 »

« Clean, comfortable, cozy. The cabin feels like it’s at the end of the world, but it is easy to get to Petoskey and Mackinac Island. We had our two dogs with us and they loved investigating the yard, which is full of naturalized plantings and mown paths. The space was great for my husband and me, but I think it would be tight with any additional adults. This was a great getaway! »

« We were thrilled with the indoor and outdoor spaces with this property. As reviews stated there is some road noise being near a busier road, but the amenities and the view make it barely noticeable. We enjoyed sipping wine on the outdoor deck, overlooking the lake, as well as roasting s’mores around the large and tidy fire pit. We had one full day of rain but had plenty to entertain both the adults and kiddos. Excellent host communication. Will stay here again! »

« WOW! We try and come to Charlevoix in early summer every year to see friends who own a shop in town before their season gets crazy. We have stayed in Earl Young properties each time but this cottage is AMAZING! So well stocked and perfect location. Plus just all around lovely. We would highly recommend and will be back. Our only regret was that our schedules didn’t allow a longer stay. »

« Our first time to Michigan and just absolutely LOVED this trip and property! A beautiful view of the water from the living room! Walkout access to the beach and pet friendly! The small town of Harbor Springs was a joy to visit, so was a drive through the Tunnel of Trees. Highly recommend this property! Gene was a pleasure to work with! Will be visiting again next year! »

« The cottage was clean and every amenity was thought of. The wi-fi was out due to a lightning strike, but we spent so much time away on the lakes that it was a non-issue. We enjoyed meeting the hosts and would absolutely recommend this place! »
