Love the Bath House.
Always a warm welcome at the Bath House. Lovely people. Breakfast is really good, ordered the previous evening for a time of your choosing. The poached eggs with smoked salmon and asparagus is my favourite.

Fantastic weekend break!!
Absolutely first class, made into a personalised experience by Corrine and Ron's devotion to their business. We spent an hour talking with Corrine at their outdoor drinks area, during which time all the local passers by acknowledged her. What an asset they are to the local community. Ron prepaeres the food to the highest standard as you can see by the Beef Rendang photo attached

Love The Bath House.
Always a warm welcome at the Bath House. Room very clean, bathroom with large shower cubicle & very clean. Lovely breakfast options; would recommend the poached eggs with smoked salmon & asparagus. Looking forward to returning.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Food very good, the room was spotless. Only complaint was that Hotels.com didn’t make it clear on their website that the price of the stay was for room only, so breakfast wasn’t included. I hadn’t realised this prior to our arrival.

ath House is a little gem.
Always lovely to return to The Bath House and always a warm welcome. Stayed for three nights just after reopening. Temp check on arrival. COVID secure without being clinical. Breakfast is wonderful as was dinner. Looking forward to it returning.

We had a great stay at the Bath House hotel. The owner came out to meet us in the carpark and then we went inside to check in. Check in was swift and easy. They have hand sanitizer by the door and wear masks and gloves. We got some great advice about what to do the following day. The whole place seemed, and smelled, very clean and the room was great. A good size and plenty of space. We had a family room as there were 4 of us. We just wanted to eat at the hotel as it was fairly late for the kids. The restaurant hadn’t reopened yet from the closure, but they said they could cook us some Chinese food, Yes Please! The food was delicious. My kids are already planning when we can go back.

Personally it’s the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Pleasant and clean rooms, great food and service. Amazing staff, everyone is incredibly generous and friendly. They always do their best to keep the guests happy and make them feel welcome. All in all I highly recommend staying here, I am definitely going to choose this hotel for my next trip again.

Karine & Ron are thoughtful and attentive hosts. My room was cosy, tastefully decorated and spotless. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and used locally sourced ingredients. Would thoroughly recommend.

I don't often take time to leave review but Bath House was definitely worthy of high praise. I stayed here for one night whilst travelling on business. The owners were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Evening meal and dinners was absolutely 1st class. Room was cosy, quiet and comfortable. The owners obviously go out of their way to ensure guests and diners have a 1st class experience and I would not hesitate to stay here again if I'm next in Chard for business or pleasure. The property is also centrally located if you want to venture out as I did. Thank you and well done.

Hidden gem!
This is a very presentable little hotel. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff who were very accommodating of our small children too. Everything looked clean, newly decorated and in good working order. The location was great for the town and we could park at the back of the hotel.

If you’re looking to stay in Chard then this is the place to stay. Just spent 3 nights there in Hollywood suite and can’t speak highly enough of the whole experience. The staff are friendly and helpful and the room was lovely, clean and fresh with the most comfortable bed ever! The air conditioning was a godsend with the recent hot weather! Large en-suite with a bath & shower in ours. The breakfast was (according to my husband)the best full English he’s ever had and he has had a few in his time 😋 . Never had the chance to sample the restaurant unfortunately but heard excellent things about it. If we are out that way again then we most definitely will be booking in here again.
