« Cabin was well cleaned. Location for activities was perfect. »

« Republic is pretty much in the middle of the U.P. so everything is a 45 min drive and up for sight seeing, which made it great for what my wife and I planned. Be advised the cell coverage in most of the U.P. is not good.This property is nice and private with a gate at the end of the driveway. The owners Ken and Sara are awesome with communication, they get back to you with great information and a quick response. Will definitely consider this again for future stays. Dan and Melissa »

« Beautiful time of year - colors were at peak. Cozy cabin for 2. Quiet and close to town and sugarloaf hike. Very well equipped. Enjoyed back sun porch for coffee in the morning. »

« Loved it. Our only problem is that there are only so many snowmobile trails coming out of Big Bay. Very Nice Place. »

« Over the past few years we have stayed in a lot of VRBOs across the UP all have been good experiences, but this stay was the best we have had yet! The grounds were BEAUTIFUL! There is many outdoor living spaces available to enjoy the Huron Bay, including a deck off the loft above the garage for a little different perspective. « This was a nice cabin. There are five cabins on the owners' property. The owners had good communication but were otherwise unobtrusive. The main hot tub is shared with cabins 1-4, but cabin 5 has its own private one. Most importantly I took my rescue pitbull and had no issues with the owners or other guests. Some properties have a lot of dog rules so I was pleased to see this property was more lenient. »

« We had an awesome weekend getaway at Cabin 5. The hot tub was nice after an evening of fishing. My husband caught 7 fish and I caught my first fish! The shower was a little tricky at first but once you figure it out it makes sense. The sink water pressure wasn’t that great but we didn’t have much use for it since we didn’t have much dishes nor needed it to cook with. If so, you just have to be patient . The beds are super comfy and overall cabin 5 was just perfect for the two of us plus our pup....

« Owner is a great guy. He responded to text right a way. Every thing was great. I had only one minor issue the driveway is grass and wasn't mowed. My feet got wet coming and going. I will use this properly again. »
