« The Blue Jay room is beautiful. It was well appointed, the bed extremely comfortable and the jacuzzi tub quite enjoyable. We enjoyed coffee and a game of billiards before we checked out. Check-in was easy and the owners communicated well. »

« Well maintained restored building in a small town. Clean and safe.
Shops and eateries on Main St closed early so had to drive back to the interstate to find a place open.
Pretty area, looks like shops are working to improve exteriors and there is a feeling of history and community. »

« This is a very unique, historic hotel overlooking the scenic banks of the Ohio River. The room was cozy, clean and very comfortable. I also appreciated the second-floor balcony, which provided a lovely view of the river, as well as the complementary tea/coffee supplies. I highly recommend this traditional hotel, especially for history lovers and explorers in search of memorable experiences! »

« No contact check in, yet was greeted warmly by hostess explaining everything we needed. Beautiful, quiet place! In the area with my mother and daughter to spread my father's ashes where he loved to fish (dugger/ wampler lake area)for years. What an unexpected find. Daughter so enjoyed your(WELL!) stocked catch and release pond! Sure hope to get the opportunity to come stay again!! »

« There was a wedding party and they were very loud all night long. The bathroom wasn't very clean. The lady that worked in the bar was very friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the property and surroundings. She was the best part of the whole trip »
