« Notre chambre située dans le cottage a côté de la maison principale était spacieuse et très bien équipée. Même si la voie de chemin de fer passe juste à côté cela n'est guère dérangeant. Les cookies disponibles dès votre accueil et les pâtisseries faites maison au petit déjeuner son un régal. Charlottesville est une petite ville pleine de charme. La rue commerçante est très agréable et à proximité immédiate de l'établissement. »

« We just enjoyed the best two nights here! We loved learning about the history of the Inn and the place is so well preserved. The innkeeper and chef were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was so delicious both mornings. The location was great as well. Almost everywhere we wanted to go regardless of the direction was 15-20 minutes away. There was an amazing pizza place right around the corner that we would definitely suggest going to. We highly recommend this inn and will surely be...

« We spend two wonderful days. The room was clean, really nice and unique. All the available rooms are open so you can enjoy and see all the different decoration. Bed was super confortable, local and very nice toiletries available in the room and hostess so welcoming and available. Then you go to breakfast in the morning and you definitely say that you will be back! It was gorgeous, made with fresh products and so well prepared. We also dine one night there and diner was as good and well prepared...

« This is a very nice B&B located conveniently to the attractions around Kerr Lake Reservoir . It is owned and operated by a couple from the Netherlands who sprinkle a little Dutch into the breakfast. The house was a pre-civil war Tobacco Plantation home. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and Martin, our host was very attentive and helpful. I would rate it a very good value »

« So nowhere did the Hotels ad inform us that this was a whole RESORT. Like 700 acres of resort with an activity schedule and stuff to do everyday! That was a really cool bonus, but the ad made it seem like a small collection of tiny houses, nothing more. So when i areived at midnight, we had our Uber driver drop us, two adults and 3 children under 8, off at the main building. Thank god for Philip with security!!! He helped see the funny side and empathized with me after the major travel struggles...
