« Very quant and convenient location off of highway. Cozy and cute little cabin. Would definitely stay again. Came for work in Arnold, and went fishing at white pines lake nearby. Everything you need was provided for a comfortable stay. Had a very pleasant trip. Very thankful and would recommend for a couple with no kids. 😊 »

« Wow! We had a wonderful time staying here as it felt cozy, comfortable and welcoming. What a wonderful host and a peaceful environment that made our short getaway even better! « Cute little place (attached to a beauty salon) with so many little things to make your stay feel like home. Tea, honey sticks for sweetening, oatmeal, games, candles, etc. Downside is it's right on the road and the shower is tiny! »

« This a great place to stay, especially if you're staying more than one night. It's about three minutes out of town so it's quiet but you can get to a restaurant quickly if you don't take advantage of the full kitchen this place offers. If you're heading to Death Valley you simply turn right at the end of the street and take a beautiful back way into the park. The hosts answered all my questions quickly. Don't let the outside of the building fool you: It's definately "rustic" but the inside is...

« Retreat #2 is wonderful on its own or as an additional rental with the main house. We rented it for our extra family members and they really enjoyed their stay. The beds were comfortable and the space nicely laid out. We would definitely stay it again! »

« Overall a very nice place. The atmosphere was very peaceful and homey. My recommendations would be more towels provided. There was a set of two per person, which, if you set aside one set for after the hot tub use, you are down to one, which after daily hikes outside, is not the best for a stay greater than 3 days. My other thought was for better signage to find the unit. It is a sharp right and down hill from the primary residence, which can be hard to see from the driveway leading in....
