« My wife and I stayed at Dunston Guest House for the weekend (2 nights). We needed to be in the north and west of Johannesburg over the weekend and the location in Woodmead was ideal. We were booked in to a standard room which we upgraded on arrival. The room was neat and comfortable and the breakfast was of the highest order.
The owners and staff were excellent. Very friendly and efficient.

« Bellgrove Guest House is located in a very calm area.
The reception upon our arrival was unsatisfactory, we were told that our room was upgraded... when checking the booking, this was not the case.
The room deserves to be refreshed, ceilings need a coat of paint.
The breakfast was not very good good, lack of variety and quality, however the staff were wonderful.
We are surprised by the raving reviews which encited us to book here, the guest house was not as expected. »

« The Guesthouse is located in a special business zone of Sandton which is the economic powerhouse of SA. It therefore becomes easy for any business related trips to stay at the Guesthouse. However, management is supposed to provide facilities such as self-cooking services at affordable prices rather than sending guests to buy food from the mall which may be too expensive or the food will be cold. For example, they can provide simple stuff such as rice, macaroni or spaghetti, cooking oil,...

« Charming place to stay right next to the Sand River which was in full flow after the rains. Pearl was a friendly and helpful host. She even came out with an umbrella to escort me to the room.
Wifi was perfect and one of the nicest omelettes I’ve had for breakfast in a long time. »

« The hotel was closed for renovation. We were relocated upon arrival to another good hotel a minute away but I would be better for the hotel to mention it upfront when customers book. »

« It was an excellent place to stay. The bed was warm and comfortable. All the amenities included an A/C, heater, safe, etc. Incredible South African hospitality. Great breakfast in the morning with incredible tasting Omelette made to your preference.
The property is nice, with a beautiful garden. Did I mention the great hospitality?
