Weekend getaway
This place is adorable. The perfect location. The camp offered everything we needed. My kids ranging from 5-23 had a blast. Definitely recommend.

Nice cottage for fishing vacation
The cottage was a nice stay for a fishing vacation with a dock that was so convenient to the dock the personal boat. Owner was extremely friendly and very responsive to our messages and emails. Thank you!

Oneida River cottage rental
One of the most well stocked cottages I have ever stayed at. I never expected to see granite counter tops in a cottage. The owner was fantastic. We accidentally locked the keys in the cottage and he was there within 5 min. to unlock it for us with a smile on his face. It is a great place to relax and within minutes of town.

Perfect Lakeside retreat!
We had such a wonderful stay in this house that is literally steps away from the Lake! We went swimming right off the dock daily. The house was perfect...a real beach theme going on inside and is well maintained. We brought our boat and was able to dock it there too. Dan, the owner of the home, is easily accessible and very accommodating! Overall, I highly recommend renting this house!

Overnight fun
Fun 24 hours on the River! This place is exactly as described. My 5, 7 and one year old twins enjoyed swimming in the river, sitting in the screened in porch and watching a stunning sunset. Nothing beats a warm cup of coffee watching the sunrise and how the river was glassed over early in the day. This place will not disappoint.

Peaceful and restorative
The cottage was everything we hoped it would be: quiet, comfortable, and right on the lake. Great boating and swimming. Dan and his family were kind hosts who responded promptly to every request we made and generously provided kayaks and games. We are planning to return next summer!

Wonderful waterfront property. House is small but pleasant, comfortable for our family of four. Large yard space means it was easy to have a few relatives over for swims/socially distanced visits. We were in or on river every day. Owner quick to respond to questions.

Nice and quiet place
This was very nice and peaceful getaway. The house is comfortable and homy, the views are beautiful, and sunset was amazing! We spotted a huge beaver at night while enjoying fire by the river. Very nice, would definitely come here again))

We all had a wonderful relaxing vacation. Thank you so much! The home is as described - it's small, cozy, close to amenities, directly on the river - and it was exactly what we needed and wanted. We did sweep the house and wiped down all the surfaces upon arrival (but that's partially due to my OCD). We look forward to coming back next year (fingers crossed).

Perfect fishing camp on the river. We took the grandkids, they had fun fishing and swimming. There are two docks for your boats with plenty of water and access to the lake. There is a lot to see and do in the area. Dan was great, real nice guy! I would do this again! Ed G.

Nice little getaway
We had a great time at this nice little cabin as we visited for an extended weekend to fish Oneida. It is not the biggest or super fancy but it was perfect for the group we had. Everything worked as it should the boat docks are in really nice shape and the owner is very nice and friendly. I am looking forward to coming back next year to the same place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay for their future fishing trip.

Cozy waterfront cottage, great for relaxing
Our group of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) stayed 2 nights in the cabin and had a nice time. We were a little crammed with 8 of us, but the cabin size would be perfect for 6. It does sleep 8 people, however one bed is located on the screened-in front porch, so no heat or air conditioning there. We spent most of our time in the yard and dock area. The river is pretty slow moving and is perfect for swimming right off the docks! We had a very nice, relaxing stay! Thanks!

This place was perfect for our stay with cousins. We enjoyed the unfussy cottage and all the water time. There are a few things that could use some TLC in the kitchen area that will need to be upgraded soon. All in all a nice stay

Nice getaway!
We really enjoyed our short stay at this cozy cottage! The boat docks were great, and we had a nice fire outside and even tried some horseshoes. The weather was not super, so we spent a lot of good family time on the enclosed porch listening to music and talking. We cooked and grilled one evening and it was relaxing and fun. Thanks for giving us a short but sweet break from the daily grind! By the way, the fishing was super.

We enjoyed our stay very much.
Dan was very pleasant and available when needed. We enjoyed the firepit in the evenings and the water view at all times. We had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay. Thank you so much Dan! We would definately return for another vacation.

Relaxing
The cottage was perfect size for my wife and I. The river was great and the location was perfect for me to keep my bass boat which made easy access to the Oneida Lake. The owner did everything to accommodate us in our stay. Close enough to stores. Would love to come back next year.

Nice Cottage

Perfect Getaway
My husband and I stayed in the cottage with friends of ours. It was perfect for the 4 adults and toddler. The front porch and water view is wonderful to wake up to, and the double docks were great for water access and fishing! The maintenance behind the cottage could be improved, but it didn't effect our stay whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this cottage for a peaceful getaway. Thank you, Dan!

Nice and cozy cabin.
We had a very good time. Little bit tricky to find but directions provided by owner was a big help. Conveniently located near shops and bars at the same time 5 steps from water. If chance will come definitely will revisit. Thank You.

Very nice and cozy
This cabin was cozy and well stocked, but could have been a little cleaner (found food in the sheets). The docks and swimming were wonderful, but no way to get into the water besides jumping off the dock (into very deep water), so not good for a beginning swimmer. Plenty of extras (kayaks, horseshoes, games, fire pit, comfortable outdoor chairs...). A fun time was had by all.

Glad you all had fun. Hope you have a great summer. Will look into your comment as all bedding is washed on sanitize setting between stay. That is very different response received from past guest, so will definatly look into it as we had temporary housekeeper for that week when we were out of town. Relaxation
We had a great time there...nice and peaceful with a fire every nite. Rented a boat and was able to park it alongside one of the docks. Was pleasantly pleased with the kitchen commodities it came with...Great time and hope to do it again. The Giles crew

Enjoyable, Clean and Fun
The place is rustic and as it refers to itself, camp like. It is clean and has all of the amenities. It is not luxurious but its setting is beautiful, right off of the river. We enjoyed our stay and had a lot of outside time lounging and watching river traffic both boats and birds. If you are looking for high end lodging, look elsewhere. But overall, I recommend the place for its charm, folksiness, affordability and laid back atmosphere.

Fantastic
What a wonderful time. Really enjoyed ourselves. Camp was spotless. Right on the river. Just what we were looking for . So nice to just walk out and hop in our boat. A 20 minute boat ride to the Lake. Great fishing, even from the dock. Kayaks & canoes right there to use. So nice to sit by the water watch the sunset Then the whole yard lit up at night with solar lights Just beautiful. Dan and Family have really thought of everything you'll need for your stay. Right down to the waffle iron.Thank you !!
