Clean, comfortable, warm, and rustic. We just stayed for a couple of nights in the middle of winter, but imagine it is even better in the warmer months. « My wife and I used to live down the street. We never knew how nice the lodge is and how amazing the restaurant is. Honestly we would have gone there to eat all the time if would have even known it was there. It is the best restaurant in the area by far. « This is my second time staying up on Lydia Mountain. The first time was in a cabin Mystic Mist with friends. My husband and I needed a little getaway, so we booked a room at the lodge for Thanksgiving. The room was so very clean and nice and loved the elec fireplace. « Overall great time. Lovely home, very spacious. Hot tub worked, access to river was easy. Fire pit is huge. Enough chairs for everybody, and we had a group of 12. Found clean but definitely needs a deep cleaning, the ceiling, under beds and couches, bathroom extractors and the washing machine smelled of mold. Maybe an update of AC units, we did feel hot during the day.Will vrbo in the future with this property. »
