Great getaway
Nice property. Would be perfect for two families with kids! My husband, our dog and I stayed for three nights. There’s a diner a couple miles away for breakfast and there’s a recreational area/beach about a two minute drive away. Loved the porch! We were very cozy. Thank you!

Had a great time. Cabin was very nice and we had no issues. Enjoyed cooking out on the deck and spending a lot of time on Dale Hollow Lake, thanks to Sulphur Creek Marina.

Location, Location, Location!
Great location for a Dale Hollow vacation! Property is 1 min. from the marina/boat ramp, 2 min. from Pleasant Grove Rec. area for hiking with constant views of the lake and a roped off swimming area in the lake. 5 min. from Celina, TN for groceries and eating out. 15 min. from the very nice Standing Stone State Park community pool, a couple of tennis courts and more hiking trails (We are big hikers). We spent a lot of time on the deck, eating, playing games and reading. The deck has a decent (but not great) view of the lake (trees get in the way). We bought fire wood and enjoyed the fire pit every night. Very nice! The initial mustiness of the interior was quickly resolved by opening the windows and letting the lake breezes do their thing (We have never rented a house that was not musty on initial arrival). The Wifi worked flawlessly. We are avid movie watchers so we also enjoyed the big screen TV and cable hookup. It did not appear the TV was connected to the internet but we solved that by connecting my Ipad to the HDMI 1 port with an HDMI-to-Lightning cable and enjoyed all our Net Flix, HBO Max and Prime subscriptions. The kitchen was spacious with a nice island and all the utensils you would need for cooking. Unfortunately we did see several roaches which I am sure the owner will address and there is a mouse living underneath the bath sink cabinets (in the bath right off the kitchen). I am sure the owner will address that as well. Rates between 4 - 4.5 stars.

So this place is stunning love the beautiful scenery! Cabin was very spacious and clean, just beautiful all together! Great place to take the family! Quiet and serene family time. Great spot for fishing! Big parking area!! Nature in abundance Great retreat place cabin had everything you could think of as far as supplies pots, pans, crockpot, ect. Definitely will be back! Owner was very tentative and helped anyway she could weither it was to fix something or help find something!! And it's Pet Friendly my fur babies go everywhere I go! If they can't go then I can't go!! There family too!!

Nice cabin looking over Dale Hollow Lake. Convenient to ramps and enough parking for a boat.

It was on the roadside but the area hardly had any traffic and if you were inside, it was not noticed. The 2 of us had more than enough room. The covered deck was great. The grill is charcoal and had been updated since the picture. There is a lake view but it's not massive, just as you see in the photo. You feel more like you're in the mountains than lake region. If you want water there are numerous accesses to enjoy. Everything is close enough so you don't feel like you're on the road too much to get somewhere. The TV remote was tricky to navigate - instructions would have helped. We came to relax and read but the lighting is not bright. There was a couch side lamp but no bulb, so it was hard to read well at night. Overall, we had a relaxing, comfortable time. It was what we wanted and needed after a very trying year. I would definitely come back with family!

The cabin is very homey and accommodated our family of 6 (plus one dog) very well. (4 BR and 2 baths...with a large table for meals and games) The outside deck offered beautiful views as well. The property manager is very available to answer any questions.

We stayed for 5 night's. The cabin was clean, well stocked and had plenty of room for our 3 families. We loved the cabin and lake view. Betti was always available if we had any questions needing answered. I will definitely rent this cabin again if we make our way back in the area. Thanks Betti!!

This property was perfect for my family. The proximity to the lake and our boat was amazing. We cooked several meals and played board games at night. We enjoyed our time with our kids and grandkids so much. Hope to return soon.

Property was over rated for the price
Mice I saw running the floor Nail sticking out of the floor people stepping on it. Carpet was extremely filthy. Linens was cheap and dirty. The cottage had bad odors through the house Had to take our trash to the dump no pick up there. In our own vehicle. For the amount I paid I would not recommend this to anyone. We had better place and services and on the south east end of the lake. If you got something better at a reasonable price send it to me. PS it had good AC. Thank you.

I'm so sorry you were unhappy with the cabin. I admit mice have been a problem this year. We've done everything possible to eliminate them and hopefully we now have them under control. I wasn't aware of the nail but we will try to correct it and will address the other issues. Wishing you the best on future vacations! Love our Dale Hollow lake.

Loved my visit!
I had a very short stay, but I will say the pictures don't do the cabin justice. Great views, very quiet, and the cabin was well stocked. From paper towels to even having flour and tin foil in the kitchen. The property manager was friendly and had great communication, and it was incredibly clean. I will probably book it again.

Really enjoyed our stay once we found the property. I suggest you get good directions from Bette because Google Maps does not provide accurate location. We spent most of our time on the large private porch. The weather was beautiful during our stay. Complete privacy. Very relaxing. Neither of the nearby marinas would rent us a slip for our boat since we were not staying on their properly. But there is a nearby state park with a boat ramp that we used however that required us to launch and trailer our boat daily.

Great Cabin - So close to the lake!
We really enjoyed our stay at Dale Hollow Cabin. We keep our boat at Dale Hollow Marina, and it was literally a 2 min drive. The cabin was very clean, had a fully stocked kitchen, and a great view from the porch. I even loved the wooded view from the back porch. Bette was very responsive prior to and during the trip, and quick to answer any questions we had. We will for sure be back! Thanks, Bette!

The house could have been wonderful, However there was a musty smell throughout the house. The linens were old and musty smelling. The carpet appeared to be very dirty and stained. There was a step up into two of the bedrooms and one bath that was very dangerous. It was hard to see and one of my sisters fell because she could not see it. We called Bette about the coffee pot and she was quick to bring us another one. We also called her about the tripped breakers that would not reset and an electrician had to come. He told us not to use over 2 appliances in the kitchenat same time.The deck was wonderful and I loved being with my sisters, however this property was our LEAST favorite of all the houses and cabins we had rented!

So sorry that you were unhappy with our cabin. We've rented the cabin for three years now and have never had complaints before(never had seven older sisters before either) We timely corrected the issues you pointed out to us. It is a cabin in the woods after all.

Easy and fast check in, view was great. Deck was big, and a fire pit with a picnic table was there as well. Very nice place to stay at and will return. Bette was also very nice and offered to help with anything i needed throughout my stay.

New Year's getaway!
Just bring your food and drinks. Property has everything else that you'll need. We packed some tin pans (cooking) and paper towels, garbage bags (clean up) but there was no need. Only problem we encountered was the stove light staying lit to notify us of a burner still being on. Turns out that none of the burners were even warm but the light stayed lit. Great getaway, great communication. Happy New Year!
