Staff was friendly, but the room was far less clean than expected. Found body hair on the headboard, the room smell, funny, and there was poop residue on the underside of the front part of the toilet seat. I personally would not stay here again.

My room was not vacuumed and carpet was dirty, kitchen stove was charred and uncleaned, garbage disposal had food and debris inside, the shower had pubic hair and didn’t appear to be cleaned. The room did not smell clean. I will never stay there again.

Claims to have a full kitchen but does not provide anything in the kitchen. You get a refrigerator, sink, burner and a microwave. Nothing else. Unclean rooms.

Everything about this place was great except the pillows on the bed. The pillows should have been thrown out and replaced. Don't understand why a nice place like this would have such terrible pillows.

Close to Target/Scheels shopping area. Very inexpensive and is in a safe area. One negative was the bathroom we had may have had mold growing on the ceiling. Besides that, it was well worth staying here again. Staff was friendly just like my first time here.

Not the place to stay
My stay at Suburban Studios Cedar Falls was disappointing. Upon arrival at 3:30, 30 minutes after check-in, our room was in disarray—AC unit dismantled, bed bare, and coffee maker in the sink. Despite seeking assistance, the unattended front desk offered little help, leaving us to wait 30 minutes for a partially cleaned room. The facility seemed more suited for long-term stays, evident in worn-out fixtures, No cover in the overhead lights, a bed side lamp that didn’t even work, and no phone in the room to call for service. Service inconsistency reached new heights when we returned at 9. An almost-empty toilet paper roll, two pillows (pictures online showed 4 pillows on the bed) that could double as bricks, and a front desk MIA. Attempts to rectify this situation were met with annoyance, as we were directed to a public bathroom down the hall. The perpetually absent front desk left only an on-call phone as our companion, emphasizing their stellar customer service. Each time we went by the front desk (during their open hours) there was never anyone there and you had to use the on call phone. Throughout the night, disruptive noise and a pervasive cigarette odor permeated the hallways. Security concerns arose with a faulty door latch, requiring constant jiggling to secure. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell far short of expectations, emphasizing the need for significant improvements in both service and facility maintenance.

Only again if last resort
I saw the 2 star rating and thought, it’s just one night and it’s cheap. I’m sure it will be fine. It was not. The room smelled like gross food had been cooked there and taken permanent residence. Lots of stains on the carpet. The heater did not work. Beds were really uncomfortable. Not even a separate bar of soap for the shower. Nobody available for checkout. On a positive note, the person who checked us in was very kind, as was the person who I talked to on the phone to do a verbal check out.

At this $ i didn't expect luxury, but this was bad. Was supposed to be nonsmoking, but clearly it was being allowed. Wish i had booked at another hotel. No one at chkin, waited 15 min for employee. Sad waste of money

The room was dirty. Had clearly been used, and not cleaned, before i entered. I just turned around and left. Since i checked in late (about 830) and they only staff the front desk until 8, even check in was difficult, however the receptionist once she did finally come and let me in to do the check in was quick and kind, this hotel is horrible. The whole thing smells like cigarette smoke once you walk in, despite the entire hotel being non-smoking....beware.

The stay was o.k. Had stain in the tub. They charge your account $100 the day you start your stay and tell you they will credit it back but still haven't received it back.3 days later. As soon as we got into our hotel room we immediately noticed the dirty carpet. The carpet thru out the room had stains on the carpet. The beds were ok however forget about pillows because they were pretty poor quality. I wiped everything down with disinfectant. We spent one night and will not stay there again.

Les points faibles : Propreté, personnel et service, équipements et infrastructures et conditions de l’hébergement
Sticky floors, torn upholstery, stained and unvacuumed carpet, lights falling away from fixtures, no amenities (but could purchase a styrofoam cup at the desk). Yuck. Never again.
