Room was boiling, no A/C, had to sleep with window open, which was impossible as it’s sooo noisy- the hotel is located right on the main road.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und das Shuttle zur Bergbahn Seceda war sehr praktisch. Das Hotel ist sehr schön, leider alte Bausubstanz, durch die einfach verglasten Fenster zog es etwas (aktuell Winter). Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr gut. Vom Hotel in die Fußgängerzone St. Ulrich ca. 20 Minuten Fußweg. Wir sind nur eine Nacht geblieben, konnten also Sauna und Schwimmbad nicht testen, sah von außen aber sehr gut aus. Skidepot sehr praktisch. Sehr gerne wieder, dann vielleicht sogar längerer Aufenthalt.

Chic Hotel outside the City Center.
Nice hotel with a bus stop out front, shuttle some days, and a pool/sauna/hammam. Although we enjoyed the hotel, it's important to note it's a bit outside the city so requires a 15-20min walk in or scheduling with the bus outside, otherwise, great for apre-ski and the night sky.

Very nice hotel outside the centre of Ortisei. Thank god they have Milos what a nice and beautiful soul. The hotel shuttle is necessary but also very quick, he has a lot of valuable information about the valley. The accomodation isn`t up to date but that doesnt matter. It is in very good condition and well preserved. Very big room and bathroom. Steambath en sauna are the best, maybe add some flavours...

Great value, a little out of the main corridor.
The hotel was very nice and clean with fantastic staff. Beautiful grounds. September visit in off season. Very good breakfast included. This area seemed to be a lower priority among vacationers to the high alpine valley but I don’t know why. Great public transport with bus stop right there. It is A little away from “main” Ortesie (I’e can’t walk easily to town stuff) But for me the quiet was great. I’d go back. It’s a great value if you have a car or are willing to take an extra leg of public transport.

Da rinnovare!
La struttura non é stata rinnovata da anni e risulta ampiamente sotto le ns aspettative considerando il prezzo pagato. Siamo stati molte volte in Val Gardena e penso che questo sia in assoluto l'hotel con gli arredi più fatiscenti, vecchi e poco curati. Sicuramente le 3 stelle indicate sono esagerate. L'hotel ha enormi potenzialità per posizione, dimensione, presenza di una piscina interna di grandi dimensioni. Il problema è che il tempo al Rodes si è fermato nel 1970.

Nostalgisk hotell i fantastiske omgivelser
Vi var to familier som bodde 1 natt her på vei hjem fra bilferie sommeren 2018. Vi kjente ikke til området, men her var det fantastisk fint! Hotellet framstår som rent, pent og velholdt, men stilen var vel fra noen tiår tilbake. Betjeningen var vennlig og serviceinnstilt og da vi spurte om tips til restaurant, henviste de oss til en lokal restaurant som serverte den beste maten vi hadde fått så langt på turen! Hotellet hadde et innendørs basseng som ungene elsket. Rommet var stort og med behagelige senger. Frokosten var enkel, men god. Det var få gjester på hotellet som nok har vinteren som høysesong det det ligger midt i Val Gardena.

Courteous and friendly staff- very accommodating. Had to change my stay by one night due to booking error on my part. Hotel owner waived change fees. Pleasant views of surrounding countryside. Breakfast was very good. Also not far from the Dolomites.

ho visto la camera e ho abbandonato l'hotel.
ho prenotato e ho avuto necessità di disdire, consapevole del fatto di non avere questo diritto ho chiesto all'hotel poi ad Expedia di rimettere in vendita la camera e solo nel caso in cui questa fosse venduta avrei ricevuto un parziale rimborso. al diniego incomprensibile da parte di entrambi ho deciso di cambiare i miei programmi e di andare ad Ortisei,(nel frattempo avevo risolto il problema che mi impediva di andare). mi sono presentato all'hotel dove mi è stata assegnata la camera. ribadisco orribile, ho quindi deciso di lasciare l'hotel e di alloggiare in altra struttura.

Wonderdul staff, clean, pleasant
The proprietor, Eugene is a delightful fellow. We were there in the off-season, and Claudio, the Romanian all-around helper, was also a wonderful guy. Not as spiffy looking as other hotels in the area or elsewhere in the Dolomites, but very gemutlich. Reasonably convenient to some amazing scenery. Plan on eating meals other than breakfast elsewhere. Highly recommended.

A very nice place to stay at
Very comfortable. The hosts were welcoming, we came in late at night and they waited for us. Breakfast was perfect. Very clean and roomy accommodation and the bathroom was exceptionally large as well.
