Loved our stay
So cute and cozy! Great location. We walked to Roscoe’s for dinner and enjoyed the museum, court house and downtown stores. Love Carthage and we plan to return.

Such a Fun Place
I LOVED sleeping in the loft! The bed was so comfortable and I slept so well. The place is so quaint and comfortable. I really enjoyed the fact that I could walk everywhere. It’s right next to the historic town square and close to many restaurants. I loved walking around the town.

Such a unique cute spot. Clean, stocked…loved everything about it except that between 6-8 am on both Saturday and Sunday morning it sounded like a track event above us…sounded like a child was jumping off furniture and then running back and forth across room. We were up late and busy and didn’t notice any other time but 6-8 am was a bit brutal.

Perfect little getaway spot
Being from the area, sometimes you just want to stay somewhere more anonymous than family or friend's houses. The Crossroads Studio property was perfect for us, and the price made for great value. The only drawback is that 2 people getting ready at the same time may have some conflict in the small bathroom. My wife would have liked a full-length mirror, but the outside glass worked just fine for that. :) Thanks for the perfect little getaway spot.

Wonderful place to stay
I’ve stayed with hosts Dave and Carissa a few times in the past five years. The studio and the loft are both amazing properties. This is the perfect location when I visit family and the Route 66 connection is so much fun. I highly recommend this historic property and the wonderful hosts who share it.

Perfect for a nice get away.
Attended wedding rehearsal and ceremony in the area. Great location close to downtown shops and restaurants. Very clean and great attention to detail. Bed very comfortable and the large shower was nice.

We just love the décor. Not so sure we liked the bathroom sink in the spot it was in, We are just so use to it being in the center of the counter. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Great location
We were in the area with our grandson so he could visit his other grandparents who live close to Joplin. Carthage was not only convenient but also a nice town with friendly people and interesting history. We had to get in touch with Carissa once, we locked ourselves out, and she was so nice and addressed the issue promptly. Wonderful loft stay and highly recommended!

Awesome place.
Very clean, well maintained place. Stayed with a group of 8 it was one of the best places I’ve stayed. Very quiet and homey and up to date. Also the owners are extremely nice Christian people. I highly recommend this place.

Quiet and Quaint
Very unique decor, very clean, comfortable beds. Close to town square nice walk and local shopping.... we would highly fit a quiet get away with a lovely atmosphere!

Unique and memorable
We really loved the studio apartment. It was perfect for a couple. The decor is beautiful and the location is perfect for exploring the area. Hosts very quickly answer any questions . Would highly recommend staying here if exploring the area!

I hate to rave about this property because I want it to be available when I return. This place looked exactly like the pictures. Bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything was super clean. The owner was very responsive and helpful. I was able to hear the person who was staying upstairs; but all was quiet when I was ready to turn out the light. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be booking this place again.

The studio was very cozy and had all the amenities of home. I like the loft and ended up sleeping up there. Very professional and timely communication with Dave and Carissa. I recommended the property to several co-workers. I would stay there again if in the area. Thanks for everything.

A great spot in an historic downtown!
We loved our stay at the Carthage Studio. Being walking distance from the historical locations was a huge plus; The Civil War museum was just a 30 second walk, even! I don't think I ever slept better on a vacation in my life, and the owners were fantastic in their communications! I would (and will) definitely recommend to others!

The rating of 2 stars surprises us because you wrote in our guest book that it was "the nicest place that you and your family had ever stayed" and "we have stayed in a lot of places." Absolutely amazing place to stay
