They gave me 2 cupons to get free coffee I went to the bar and noone was there. Waited 5 min, he said machine is broken.. He sent me to the actual bar.. Bartender was so rude, he gave me 2 cups with coffe and left.. No lid No sugar No cream.. I just throw it away

Chose this hotel because it was close to the Nevada State Railroad Museum and had a casino in it. It was very easy in and out, lots of parking. The staff was so friendly and nice, already to help with anything.

Wen we checked in for 2 nights they gave us a room that wasn't cleaned from the previous people. It set my mood as this hotel is dirty. There was a potty chair for disabled person on the toilet etc. we went back downstairs told the clerk. She was very apologetic. She gave us another room Thank God it had been cleaned. The bed was uncomfortable, the carpet needs to be replaced and the tiles on the ceiling was loose. I didn't feel comfortable. I do not recommend. I do have to say the staff was friendly. I think it's a management problem. Won't be back.

Very old, outdated and unkept. The bed had no skirt so the box springs are exposed. Tv did not work it came on but no channels. Bathroom has 1960 tile in it. Carpet was worn and dirty.

We needed an overnight stop on our road trip and this place provided what we needed. The best part of our stay was the interactions with the staff-they were over the moon delightful.

Great getaway
My stay was great,the staff was friendly and welcoming the room was clean and quiet..I was on the top floor and no one else was around..I had a great view of the city..it was very relaxing.

Muy bien el hotel y el servicio, solo todo el hotel huele a cigarro desde la parte del cansino que es totalmente entendible hasta el cuarto cuando se supone que era de no fumadores, pero en general todo excelente y limpio.

We always stay here for it’s down home feeling, has everything you need, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and easy access to casino downstairs. It’s a little dated but they’re constantly working on it. Bed is super comfortable. Highly recommend the Federal Hotel and Max Casino.

Decent for the price, room was dated and the tv had a crack in it. Room was right next to laundry which was occasionally loud and could hear the workers in the hallway.

The place is run down. The carpets in the room were very old and I didn't want to walk on them barefoot. Otherwise, it's an old hotel. The staff were nice. The casino was mostly quiet and empty.

The staff was very nice and I understand the property is up for renovation. But renovation won’t fix the thinnest walls I’ve ever encountered. Thinner than a Motel 6. Could hear our neighbor’s every word as though they were in the same room as us and they weren’t super loud. Unfortunately, this made for a terrible nights rest since they kept the TV on all night. Not sure how a renovation will fix that.

Outstanding staff
The rooms are older and need some work. They were semi clean. The floors needed to be vacuumed and my t.v. did not work even after the assistance of one of the employees. The front desk employees were very nice and accommodating.
