I thought I booked the other, more updated, Super 8 in the same town. I had booked a handicapped room (he has 2 prosthetic legs). It was apparently unavailable, although it seemed like there were not many other people staying. The phone system was not working, so even to check in we had to call a cell number and it took a long time for someone to come to the counter, and it was only about 5 pm. There was no free long distance and no free HBO like the sign said. Ice machine was not working. So disappointed in the breakfast available. When we checked in, there was a box of Casey’s donuts on that counter with one single donut in the box that was left from the morning. That same box was still there the next morning - no bread, muffins or anything else. No fruit or anything that I could eat (gluten free) There was an odor in the hallways and the carpets in the room were so disgusting there was no way one should walk on it with bare feet. Several of the outlets in the room did not work, which made it difficult to charge phones and watches. We would probably not stay here again.

Do not stay!
The overall quality of the hotel is awful. Stained carpets, cracked tiles that were missing pieces. Smelled off in the room, hair in the sink and drain, dented walls, holes in the chair, stained carpet, the tub was gross, and the tv did not work. I’m surprised the the ac unit even worked. 0/10

I can't believe this is a hotel chain! So much work needs to be done to be up to code. Cheapest stay in town, but for good reason. The 1 staff was kind, but breakfast was non-existant, Water leaks in the hallways and poorly patched holes in wall in the rooms. Would only stay here if desperate.

Bad experience
We canceled pur reservation do to the uncleanliness of the hotel. The minute you pull up to the hotel you see mattresses in the window and upon entering you see garabage in the hallways, no staff at the desk. I had to call to get someone to come help us at the front desk. This place is more of. Motel than hotel. Run down and disgusting.

Where’s the hotel manager?
My stay was less than desirable. Though the cost was valued, the upkeep of the room and facilities were less than expected. Breakfast area was not supplied with the promised items, the manager(s) were no where to be found unless calling them and even that took more time than expected. A bright spot was the friendliness of the cleaning staff. She made our stay comfortable by offering extra towels and doing an awesome job on our room between days of our stay.

This is the original Super 8 in town. It used to be very nice, but now it is really run down. I requested a ground floor room, since my mother doesn’t do well with stairs. We got that, but I also requested a double Queen room, which we didn’t get. It was supposed to be the Handicapped Accessible room - but there is no way anyone in even a smaller wheelchair could get around in that room. The toilet was loose and rocked side to side when you sat on it, and there was no smoke detector. The base was there but the unit itself was gone. Only stayed one night and made other arrangements for the rest of our stay.

A complete DUMP OF FILTH
Was a package of moldy Colby cheese under bed with a baby spoon and what looked like lipstick or something else, also there was an apricot that was shriveled up and the size of a walnut. Black mold in the shower in three or four places and the drywall was hanging down. Place smells musty and stale. Tried talking with the employee, but he did not appear to speak english. If we were able would have left, but not able to as on bicycle

A disappointing experience in Carroll
From the moment I walked into the reception area knew that this stay would not be the best and i was right for sure My first impression was that this was a rundown neglected property and it sure turned out that way Check in was very impolite and I felt that i had imposed myself on the person at the desk The room was just about ok but lamps and electric outlets did not work as well as the hair drier I found debris on the floor near the bed and used Q tips in a dresser drawer also The so called breakfast consisted of 2 types of cereal waffles and a few packs of mini do nuts There was a toaster with no bread and a coffee maker with no coffee to brew I would say that this hotel is one of the worst I have ever stayed in and would not recommend this facility to my worst enemy in the world Stay away from this property it is abysmal

This place is a MUST MISS!!! It’s dirty, rundown and minimal service. Breakfast offered waffles, but no waffle mix, and toast but no bread and lukewarm coffee… Nasty! We will never go there again!

We didn't even stay at the property. When we arrived there were several people outside that were drinking and made us feel very unsafe. We didn't want to leave our vehicle outside and ended up staying at a friends house. The photos online are very deceiving. At this point we have lost our money and we would love to receive a REFUND. You either need to shut this place down or invest to bring it up to date and not attract an unsafe environment for other customers.

Go to check in. Nobody was there. Used the phone to call to check in. They said they would be up in a few minutes. 10 minutes later we call again and they said he will be up shortly. We finally got checked in and I used the bathroom right away. I go to leave the bathroom and the door knob fell off and I was trapped in the bathroom. I eventually worked my way out. They gave us a different room. The next room was ok but the tv remote didn’t work. It had tape to hold the batteries in. Definitely will not stay there again.

Gentlemen at check in was very nice & helpful. The room was as expected. The bathroom sink was broke & water leaked out of pipe on floor. Also stairs needed to be vacuumed.

Staff is great here. The motel is nothing to write home about, but it was decent enough to spend the night. I wish they updated their blankets though - it felt like sleeping on a nice bed with an army-issue blanket. But maybe that’s just me being spoiled.

Giot booked in the wrong state and by the time i got my mobey back my stay was already over. Also phobe for over 4 hours and still didnt get to tslk ti a Hotels.com agent. The night manager that checked us in was extremely friendly and personable. This isnt a fancy hotel by any means, we knew that going in. The room was good sized and clean. Breakfast was pretty good, basically the continental breakfast id expect from a nicer hotel. Overall it was a good experience for the price.

What seemed to be a homeless man and his dog were in the lobby the full time we were there. There was dog feces outside a side door. Staff was pleasant but overall I am glad we just had to sleep there for a few hours.
