Great Place to Stay
All of us enjoyed to stay very much and had so much fun in the game room. Even going to beach was easy with beach chairs provided. Quiet neighborhood and very clean and good location to Santa Barbara in 10 - 15 minutes. If you plan to check out the Channel Islands National park departing in Ventura, only 30 minutes away from the house. Beds are all comfortable. In addition, the host responses very quickly. In 7 minutes from the house near Summerland Fuel depot in Carpinteria, there is a street with several restaurants and some shops to check out. We didn’t know until last day to get a gas! 😂

Family get-away
Sea Breeze cottage was the perfect place for my family to enjoy a wonderful, long weekend. There was so many fun things to do together at the house ...and my 2 year old great nephew had plenty of toys for playtime, too! The property is lovely, clean, neat and well-appointed - and quite close to the many activities that Santa Barbara has to offer. Thank you Donna and Kevin - you are wonderful hosts.

Wonderful Cottage for Kids
We had a great stay. Property was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Owners were friendly and very responsive to questions. Our kids loved the game room and ping-pong table outside. Great property - would definitely stay again!

Great for family and friends
My family really enjoyed our stay with Donna and Kevin. They were incredibly hospitable and made us feel welcome. Although, we did not see them during our stay, there was great communication via VRBO. The house itself was clean, with thoughtful amenities, and in a quiet neighborhood. We also enjoyed the games, and think that we may have improved our pool and basketball skills.

Family Holiday
Our family spent the Thanksgiving holiday at the Sea Breeze Cottage. It was a wonderful stay! The location was perfect for day trips in the SB area. The game room was awesome…what a fun place to bond after spending the day exploring. The kitchen is complete with everything a cook would need to make home-cooked meals if desired. We prepared all our dinners at the cottage - Thanksgiving included. The location is quiet and very safe. Thank you Donna & Kevin for the lovely memories!

Landscaping!
We all left wishing that we had a few more days at the property! Despite being between neighboring properties, you definitely get a feeling of isolation. And meticulous planning (windows and fixtures) gives you privacy. Fencing provides plenty of buffer between the cottage and Donna/Kevin's place. We spent most of our socializing hours in the luxurious outdoor seating near the grilling area and just outside the kitchen. That area is dominated by gorgeous potted palms and a variety of flowering plants. The entire (upscale) neighborhood is covered with gorgeous palms of various species. Inside? The home was spotless on arrival. The two baths worked fine for our party of five, and the beds were comfortable with elegant bedding. I forgot to take the charger for my cell phone, but I didn't need to borrow one from a friend..... Donna and Kevin had a variety available in the home. Others have commented that they thought of virtually everything, and that's true. And local hikes are plentiful. We went bird watching on the Carpinteria bluffs. Don't pass on a chance to stay here!

Immaculate home geared toward enjoying the company of everyone staying with you. Very generously stocked with coffee and accouterments. Comfortable beds. Amazing game room. Definitely would recommend this wonderful cottage

Beach Getaway
We came from Chicagoland with my 2 daughters ( 6 and 3) and my husband’s parents. We were all beyond impressed with the property! All the minor attention to details did not go unnoticed. All basic amenities and beyond were provided. The game room was so much fun for family hang outs.

These was a wonderful property! Delightful and whimsical in decor that perfectly suited the area. Donna and Kevin clearly put careful thought into assuring everything you could need, especially when traveling with young children, was available. It was secluded and quiet but close to the charming town and beach of Carpinteria. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. Towels for the hot tub and beach, games to play, movies to watch!! Fantastic!

Just Amazing!
Our family of six needed a home-away-from-home while we moved our daughter into UCSB. This home was perfect and had every amenity you could think of. Seriously. Everything. The house was spotless, the sheets and bed were luxurious, and the outdoor living space was a perfect place to curl up and read a book. The home is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac and was very quiet. We slept with the windows open and felt very safe. Our family did not want to leave; we were so comfortable here. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Adored Sea Breeze!
We had a wonderful stay at Sea Breeze cottage. We traveled with two children (4, 2) and they were in heaven with the surplus of toys, games, books, etc., that Donna so carefully curated. The home was clean, kitchen fully stocked, and beach gear galore. It was a fabulous week at Sea Breeze and we would highly recommend staying there!

Magical experience!
This was a wonderful time. It’s clear a lot of thought went into to setting up this cottage, to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Our family of 6 included my in-laws and two girls, aged 3 and 10. There was something for everyone! We all loved the game room, spa, corn hole & ping pong. BBQ in the evening was a lovely time. Plenty of options to keep everyone entertained, while staying in. Not to mention the location, just 15 minutes drive from Santa Barbara - and 10 minutes or so from Carp City Beach. Beautiful and quite neighborhood as well; we had no trouble finding the place. Thank you Donna and Kevin, for being such generous hosts and ensuring our stay was such a memorable one! We hope to be back here again!

Sea Breeze Wedding Vacation
Such an incredible home! Our family came to Carpinteria for my sisters wedding and we could not have asked for a better place to stay! You can tell that so much love has gone into the Sea Breeze cottage as the attention to detail was astounding! Also, great proximity to beaches, shops and restaurants. Picture Perfect Stay
This was likely the best VRBO I’ve ever and will ever stay in. From the serene and welcoming outdoor area with games for the whole family to the meticulously decorated inside, everything was perfect. Exactly as pictured, hosts were super communicative, and great location. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area! I’m only sad we didn’t have more time to enjoy all the amenities!

Absolutely perfect!
We had the perfect stay at Donna and Kevin’s place! It’s a gem in a stunning location! The place is so comfortable, with every little detail thought out. They have everything you need and more. And it’s so fun!! We had a ton of fun hanging out and playing pool and hoop it up with the family, and also relaxing outside. Couldn’t have found a more perfect accommodation for our wedding weekend to have so many special moments with the family! It would be a great place to come with kids too. And not only was the place amazing, Donna was also awesome at communicating with us and she was really kind! We’d 100% recommend and can’t wait to be back!

We were in town for a wedding, the owners were great as we had packages delivered and they communicated with us when they arrived. The cottage was immaculate! Location is convenient to Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara airport, and the beaches. Great activities for enjoyment while at the cottage. We would come back if we are in the area.

Beach house
Great vacation house !!! We wish we could have more time to spend it at this gorgeous house. It's lovely and has everything that you need, you just need your personal stuff and food to eat everything else is there from towels, umbrellas to shampoo. full kitchen ,barbeque I mean you need something it was there.... also really good communication with owners and a welcome cookies along with a little card. So thoughtful .We enjoy the game room, we got late and tired but after we started playing, we stayed up till 2am pool ,darts and basketball arcade game we had a great family time .Thank you Donna and Kevin beautiful house

Perfect Family Retreat
I would say Sea Breeze Cottage has been the most welcoming of homes that we have ever had the chance to stay in. Once you enter the front gate, you feel like you are a world away from everything else. The house was very clean, well appointed, and the amenities were more than expected. From the cookies, snacks and selections of coffees and teas, we were not at a want for anything except more time to stay and enjoy all that was to offer. Definitely a must stay at Sea Breeze! Loved the games
We had a wonderful time during our stay. The home had everything we needed and then some. From the cookies upon our arrival to charging cords in our rooms, we lacked nothing. The entertainment topped it off. We had family matches of pool, darts, ping pong, and corn hole. The pinnacle was when we pulled out a childhood favorite, Perfection, and had tons of fun seeing who would solve the game with time to spare. We were close to activities like the beach, deep sea fishing, golf, shopping and dining which we all accomplished. But we could of had a great time reconnecting while just staying in. Beyond high expectations
Seeing photos and reviews of this home it seemed almost too good to be true. It turned out to be the nicest experience we've had with a vacation home -- from host communications to cleanliness, amenities and thoughtful touches in each space (indoors and out)! We reserved this lovely place for a graduation weekend with family coming in from ME, OR, IL, and CA. Everyone was comfortable and had privacy/quiet when needed. There was constant entertainment around the pool table, hot tub and spacious seating areas surrounded by gorgeous landscaping and ocean/mountain views. Look no further!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage is set up beautifully for a family group: spacious, comfortable sitting areas, an exceptionally well-stocked kitchen, and an amazing game room. It's also a peaceful setting, quiet and pretty. Communication with the owners was also great; they were quick to respond to our questions and generous with their help. Exceptional cottage
This has got to be one of the best short term rentals we've stayed at. Donna and Kevin planned and thought of everything. All the decor adds to the beachy vibe, right down to the books and board games provided for enjoyment. They've installed a reverse osmosis system at the kitchen sink. We forgot a meat thermometer, but of course the cottage had one! Our kids loved all the different activities they could partake in. We will definitely have to come back again!

The BEST!
The place was fantastic! They thought of everything. Down to the smallest detail! It was a vacation house filled with so much fun and extras, not just a place to sleep at night. By far, the best vacation home I’ve ever rented.

Couldn’t ask for more!
Donna and Kevin’s Seabreeze Cottage is truly an oasis. Everything about the place is charming and the kids (and parents) had a blast in the game room, playing darts, pool and the many card and board games into the night. The kitchen was well stocked so we could prepare anything we wanted, the hot tub was ready to go when we arrived and the beds were comfortable. Everything you need for a day at the beach was provided too. We had a couple of rainy days as we visited in March so I was very grateful for the provision of umbrellas for the whole family by the front door. This is truly a 5 star stay, stylish, comfortable, and most of all fun, and I encourage anyone considering booking to go ahead and do it! You won’t be disappointed.

Perfect Carpinteria Retreat
My family of four frequent travelers thought this was the best accommodations we have found via VRBO. Although we experienced some rain during our 5-day stay, this property was truly an oasis. We appreciated the uplifting and tasteful decor, the fully stocked kitchen, super fun game room, and large patio with spa. Communication was perfect. Close to Santa Barbara. Highly recommended!

One of the best!
This is one of the best VRBO houses we have rented. The place is extremely well stocked and very clean. The location for us was great - close to the beach, downtown Carpenteria (5 minute drive) and Santa Barbara (approximately 15 minute drive) yet in a neighborhood that is quiet and peaceful. The only drawback - you cannot easily walk to town or the beach. We had fun at the house - with a pool table, ping pong table, basketball hoops, darts and lots of games - so much fun! And, the hot tub was perfect - we could sit in the hot tub and see the stars. The owners live next store but the rental unit is very private. The owners were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

The adirondack chairs in front are new and I'm so happy you got to use them while drinking coffee and watching the sunrise. We've just added two more to accommodate a bigger group. Best Ever- Just book It :)
Simply perfect, the design and layout are so thoughtful and this place has everything you need. The host (Donna) was engaging and proactive about any needs. It was very nice to experience such a high level of thoughtful service. It rained the weekend we stayed and there was more than enough to keep us entertained. From up-to-date electronics to good old fashion game boards, darts and a pool table!! My four kids couldn’t get enough. The location is five minutes from anything you need in Carpinteria. We ventured out to some tasty restaurants (Clementines I’m looking at you). I would highly recommend you stay here and we will definitely be returning.

Clean, Beautiful & Entertaining
Stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and loved this property. Easy drive to Santa Barbara. The property is so clean, has so many great amenities, and we found ourselves at the property 90% of our time since it was such a cozy home away from home! Donna & Kevin are incredibly responsive and would definitely choose this property next time we find ourselves in Santa Barbara.

Exceptional stay in Carpinteria!
Our stay here was exceptionally good. The place was spotless with almost all of the amenities. We loved the game room! Kitchen was fully stocked too. Beautifully decorated rooms. Loved your attention to even the tiniest details of the patio floors inscribed with sea shells and sea horses! I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway or a staycation. Checkin process was seamless, we were allowed to check in early. The family and I all enjoyed your home. We’ll visit again :)

Exceeds expectations
This cottage is clearly a labor of love for the owners. It is so cute and in mint condition. It is very comfortable with a generous, inviting outdoor space as well. The kitchen is well stocked with new cookware and tableware. Beds are comfortable. The game room is a big attraction for all ages. We had a great stay.

Mountain cottage perfection
Loved this property! We travel a ton, always booking vrbo’s and this property was a favorite! From the location nestled in the mountains yet a few minutes from the beach. It was a home that entertained all ages. Puzzles with grandma, hot tub nights with the kids, my teenager and 1.5 year old were equally entertained. Most homes don’t accommodate toddlers well, but the hosts went above and beyond!! The home has everything, including a beautiful ambiance. We will definitely be return visitors!

A great vacation space

Fun for everyone!
Super fun time! Well stocked house with everything we needed and more! Couldn't get enough of the game room. We booked during winter and were so happy to have this house with lots of activities during rainy days. Would recommend to anyone coming to Santa Barbara and hope to return.

Favorite getaway for the family!
The Sea Breeze Cottage is mine and my family's favorite place that we have ever stayed. Donna and Kevin went above and beyond any host that we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The welcoming gift as well as the other surprise amenities were the first highlights of my husband, our 2 grown boys, and their fiancés first ooo's and ahh's of our family weekend. This rainy weekend was saved by the most enjoyable game room that included board games, darts, pool table, and the boys favorite- basketball game/girls favorite the alexa song quiz games. For my sons, who are in their early 20's keeping them happy and occupied without leaving the house is a miracle in itself. We cooked several meals at The Cottage and it had everything that we needed and it was immaculate. The view from the kitchen window was breathtaking. The location was my favorite since it was nestled by the hills and reminded me of Hawaii with the lush vegetation and remote feeling. It was also the perfect driving distance to Solvang for their annual Christmas parade as well as being close to Santa Barbara, Montecito, and the neighboring towns. The Bairds also had local recommendations for things to do and eateries that was a huge help. We will definitely need to return when the sun is shining to enjoy the outside that we couldn't on this trip. Thank you for making our family weekend one of the best in our memory books.

Exceptional experience
Donna and Kevin went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. They provided a great gift basket and everything we needed to make their place feel as home-like as possible for us and our baby (highchair, baby plates/silverware, changing pad). The place is immaculately clean, and they have so many great amenities to make your stay enjoyable. From the hot-tub to ping pong table to the pool table they had so many great perks. I can't recommend Donna and Kevin's place enough!

A hidden gem - peaceful and fun
The Seabreeze cottage offers an opportunity for peace and tranquility while being close to all the key spots in the Santa Barbara area. Whether you are interested in bars, nightlife, good restaurants, tourist spots, hikes or beach, everything is only a few miles away. But the best part is if you just want to chill with friends & family without going anywhere, Seabreeze is the perfect place for that. The gameroom, huge collection of dvds and outdoor area with a jacuzzi and games will keep you entertained for a long time! The owners' attention to detail and love for hospitality is evident in the way this cottage is decorated. From little knickknacks to crockery and room decorations, everything matches the theme of Seabreeze. The soft fluffy blankets, multiple coffee machines, welcome basket of snacks and ocean themed cookies- all leave the guests feeling welcomed and pampered. We would love the opportunity to stay here again and recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to visit.

Amazing family weekend at the Sea Breeze Cottage in Carpenteria,CA
We feel grateful and honored to be the first guests to stay at this beautiful home. We felt welcome and comfortable from the moment we got into the front door. We were surprised with a bottle of champagne and freshly made cookies as a welcome gift for being the first guests in their home! The house is beautifully decorated with ocean scenery inside and out, we can feel the love and good taste in every detail around the house. There was so much thought put into everything we might need to make us feel at home. The house was very cozy, clean, spacious and comfortable for the 6 of us. The beds were very comfortable, and the linens are nice and soft. The bathrooms were clean, spacious and had all the necessary amenities. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen has everything we needed to prepare breakfasts and dinners at home, we used the BBQ one night, and we even baked a cake! The kitchen has great appliances, pots, pans, beautiful dishes and trays. They also had an assortment of complimentary snacks! The patio is beautiful, and it has a really nice lounge and dining area for entertaining, ping pong table and hot tub that we enjoyed after our long fishing day! The game room is amazing; it has a pool table, darts, basketball hoops and many boardgames; the game room was the highlight of the house that our family enjoyed the most! The location of the house is amazing; it is very close to the beach, at the foothills of the mountains surrounded by trees in a very quiet secluded neighborhood Donna and Kevin were very easy to communicate with, very flexible and checked with us several time to see if we needed anything, Our family weekend was incredibly beautiful, relaxing and we wish we had more time to spend and this house. We definitely recommend staying at this beautiful home and we are looking forward to coming back soon! This vacation rental is by far one of the best places we have ever stayed, we liked so much we didn't want to leave! Thank you, Donna and Kevin, for your hospitality!
