It is located right on the beachfront in beautiful Carpinteria, California. With stunning ocean views and direct access to the sand, this is the perfect luxurious spot for a relaxing getaway.

Step inside this cozy, fashionable vacation rental, and you'll find a comfortable living room and kitchen designed with ultra-modern furnishings perfect for relaxing after a long day in the sun. Eat or lounge outside and listen to the sound of the waves daily! The deck has a comfortable couch and chairs and a four-person dining table. So, relax and watch the kids play on the sand on one of the world's safest beaches!

The well-appointed kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals during your stay. It is furnished with stone counters, contemporary cabinets, hardwood floors, and stainless-steel appliances, with plenty of seating at the large kitchen bar to feed the family after a long day at the beach!

The living room is equipped with a large flat-screen TV that pops up from the countertop so you can curl up with a good movie on a lazy afternoon. The living room also has a sliding glass door leading to a beachfront patio deck, where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine while taking in the stunning ocean views.

The primary bedroom has a comfortable new queen bed, end tables, a closet, and a fun art-framed flat-screen TV. The second bedroom has a full/twin bunkbed and end table, a closet, and an art-framed flat-screen TV.

Parking for one car is available in the gated parking area – No large trucks, please. Street parking is available. There is a coin-operated washer/dryer onsite.

Carpinteria Shores is located right on the beach, so you can step out of your vacation rental and onto the sand in just a few steps. The beach is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and surfing, and there are plenty of nearby restaurants and shops to explore.

The Winter Sand Berm is being taken down now 03/03/2025
*Winter Sand Berm: The construction of the city's winter sand berm is a strategic measure, informed by the annual tidal patterns influenced by celestial alignments. The timing of the berm's erection is determined by the specific positioning of the Earth relative to the sun and the moon, resulting in typical installation periods from early December through early to mid-March. However, these dates are subject to variation due to the dynamic nature of lunar and solar cycles rather than arbitrary human decision-making.

For instance, historical data indicates that the berm was dismantled on March 10th, 2021, and on March 2nd in 2020. This year, the construction of the sand berm is scheduled for November 29th, 2023, aligning with the predicted celestial and tidal conditions. These dates exemplify the adaptation to the annual celestial shifts.

Beyond its functional purpose, the sand berm offers unique recreational opportunities. Visitors can traverse its height to enjoy an enhanced perspective of the surroundings or utilize it as an elevated seating area by placing beach chairs atop it.

Beautiful property

The condo was beautiful and very well furnished. The deck was great to sit with morning coffee and evening cocktails. This is a family friendly building on a public beach, not very private or quiet. That is not a negative and the location is ideal for bars and restaurants. The management company was friendly and very responsive.

Beautiful condo, clean and comfortable, decorated in light grey and white so stools quite stained which didn’t bother us. We had our daughter and grandson for 2 nights and they enjoyed it. Appliances beautiful but not user friendly, ie no manual for induction stove (looked). Coffee machine nice but no coffee (we looked, so did Debbie). Boxes delivered Monday. Overall a good stay. The updated parking spaces look great.

Wonderful stay

We have stayed in the Carpinteria shores condos for years around Father’s Day. We usually choose another condo but this one was beautiful and just as pictured. The beds were comfy and linens were of nice quality. The kitchen was well equipped to make meals for the family. The deck was well appointed with comfy furniture and umbrellas. We all had a lovely stay and would like to return for another visit next year.

Stylish & Cozy Beachfront Apartment

Loved the location and how beautifully appointed this apartment was. Enjoyed being able to be on the patio right on the beach. Don’t think we would have enjoyed our stay as much if the apartment wasn’t so beautiful! Very convenient parking. Very walkable to the adorable downtown full of cute shops and a variety of great restaurants. My only con: it annoys me that VRBO lists a nightly price, then tacks on $700 in fees
with a hotel you get the actual price you’ll be paying, not the price before taxes, cleaning costs and fees. And that was for only 4 nights!

Great location!

We loved our stay, but upon arrival, the overwhelming smell of, perhaps, cleaning materials was awful. We opened windows to reduce the strong stench, but nothing helped. Once inside, we acclimated to the smell, but each time we left and returned, we were again hit with what I’d almost classify as a hazardous-materials smell. It wasn’t pleasant AT ALL! Once home, my clothes all wreaked of it. So strange! Also, while the place seemed clean & very nice, I question if the floors are mopped in between guests. The one time I walked around bare-footed for a short time, which I truly NEVER do, my feet were absolutely filthy. Also, which isn’t a big deal, we were told to run the dishwasher before we left, but there were dishes in there when we arrived, so we weren’t sure if they were clean or not & questioned whether housekeeping was even there & doing their jobs before we arrived, which could also explain the dirty floors, but not the cleaning fee! We brought paper plates & cups and never used the things there, but we ran the already-full dishwasher for fear of being charged extra for not following all the rules. Lastly, the front-door keypad was super problematic & would take numerous inputs in order to open the door. One night we almost thought we’d need to call management for help, but finally, after many attempts, the door opened. I apologize for all the complaints, but I feel it‘s important to inform you of the issues encountered. (I hope this isn’t published & is only for Vrbo)

Beware the berm(WALL)

This vrbo needs to show what the berm really is. It’s a 10’ wall of sand 5 feet from the patio. It made staying at this place feel like staying in a basement with no windows. You couldn’t not enjoy the patio because of the constant sand blowing onto the patio. It was just awful.

We stay in Carpinteria every year and this was by far the best rental we have stayed in . It was clean , beautiful, had every kitchen item we needed and the beds were so comfortable. I would stay here every year .

Great Location!!

Modern and updated. Loved being steps away from the beach. Carpinteria is a great little town and not that far from the attractions in Santa Barbara! A few minor suggestions: provide facial tissues, dish rack, and more than one coaster. Would definitely stay here again!

Incredible property!!

If you have any concerns about this property
don’t! My wife and I are very critical of our VRBO rentals and we nothing even remotely bad to say about this place. We honestly thought the picture didn’t do the condo justice because it was perfect. The kids LOVED the bunk beds and we had the whole back deck to ourselves the entire stay. Our only hesitation about giving this condo 5 stars was our worry that the price will go up. Fingers crossed that it’ll be the same for our next trip!
