This property's price represents an Economy Rating for an ocean property with a pool, close to beach access. Expect a cleaned unit, but unimproved as to paint, carpet, and furniture.  

Welcome to The Breakers: Out of Office! You'll be right at home in our crisp and casual condo. The beach is only just a few steps across the street to the access point, so you can go back and forth easily. Take a shade break on our front porch and enjoy a quiet cocktail while rocking and taking in the salty sea air and ocean view. Or if you've had enough salt water, take a dip in our community marsh-side pool. Located right at the north end of the island and Freeman Park, you can stroll over the Lo Tide Tiki Bar for a nearby social hour, or walk or bike 1.5 miles down to the Sea Witch or many other bars, restaurants, and shops at The Boardwalk. The north end of the island has been reenergized with last year's Beach renourishment and lots of summer action at the new Carolina Beach Pier.  Live music, surf activities, cocktails, and a great food menu make the North End better than it's been since Florence!

Parking is monitored by property management. Please adhere to parking rules. 

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds. 

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Off Season Check-ins begin at 3 pm and are guaranteed by 5 pm
Check-out is by 10 am. 
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Guest Access:
Hard key.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities 
No smoking
You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pet Policy:
Dogs Allowed. The first dog is included in the price of the Rental. Subsequent dogs are subject to an additional payment and restrictions! Carolina and Kure Beaches are pet-friendly, but you must follow town guidelines. Please check the town website for beach pet restrictions.

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation debit.
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re-rented. If premises are re-rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation debit.

Things to do:
Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. One of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, it includes a variety of restaurants, an arcade, shops, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more! During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Rent a Jeep, bicycle, or golf cart as the most convenient ways to navigate the island. Annual off-season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

On our first night, our shower wasn’t working, which made for a rather uncomfortable evening. Maintenance did come the next day when we called back a second time. Other minor issues we found throughout our stay included a dead TV remote and an off-brand coffee maker that won’t produce more than half a cup at a time. We were pretty grossed out by the blankets and rug smells - they desperately need a deep clean or replacement. Location was awesome, views were nice, and we enjoyed our time at the beach, but this rental did not live up to our expectations.

I loved the location and front porch of this property! You can see 3 different views of the ocean. The property was very clean. The downstairs local neighbors were the best! I had to contact the rental agency (regarding an issue with a previous renter) and they were fantastic to work with. They called within an hour and solved the problem as quickly as possible. The beds were comfortable. It was a blessing to find such a clean property that allowed our rescue pup. I hope to be able to stay again in the future. I would encourage other renters to care for these properties as you would your own. â˜ș

Property was clean but could use some maintenance. Main entrance door has definitely seen better days. Is not framed right. Sliding glass door lock broken & cannot lock. Screen door will not stay on track. Floor lanolin coming up in several places. But on the good side—- Excellent location near beach! Beach view is a little distant due to the new condos being built across the street.

Property was great close to everything walk over road to beach, beautiful sunsets off bedroom balcony, everything we needed for a week at the beach with our pup. I received several emails with info in them. My college son who plays football and his fiancĂ© and I needed a quick get away. This place was perfect. Quick walk to the beach. Has 2 balconies. I slept on the Murphy bed. It was actually pretty comfy. My fiancĂ© brought her dog and it was all perfect. Neighbors who live in the building were very kind. Only downfall was it was a lot more flights of steps then I had thought. Wasn’t a deal breaker but in the heat and I am waiting to have a knee replacement. I would definitely love to stay here again. This condo was very clean. It was a nice set up, comfortable bed. It was very quiet on this end and right next to the beach access. We practically had the pool to ourselves most days. Just a really nice condo, location and very relaxing! We would definitely stay here again!
