« What a lovely night away. Mark and Karen were brilliant hosts. Clean rooms with all the amenities you need. Great array of drinks and snacks available. Soft towels and comfy beds. Delicious breakfast cooked by Karen. All the ingredients were excellent quality and cooked excellently. A perfect little base for a weekend in Wales. We enjoyed walking Pen Y fan. Mark recommended a local pub for a drink in the evening and there was some live music going on. Karen even gave us some pastries to enjoy on...

« The 'Pendine Sands B B' is adjacent to a spectacular looking medivial church. (By the way: we attended a Sunday Mass and we were taken aback by the warmth of the congregation, with which we - total strangers - were welcomed). The entire area is very serene and calming. "I had a really nice stay at this guesthouse. It is kind of old-fashioned, but not rundown. A lot of decorations reminiscent of Carmarthen's past as well as of the place itself. A place you could maybe have found the same 30 or 40 years ago and well-maintained eversince. I really loved the mood. Also, the owners are really super nice, kind and welcoming. A good traditional cooked breakfast is served in the morning. Go there if you like old-style UK and want to support independent owners. I would gladly return."
