« We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It was very cosy and well equipped. The setting is stunning with beautiful countryside and a haven for wildlife. It was lovely to see the otter and so many different birds, the woodpeckers being our favourite. Angela and Shaun have obviously worked very hard to make this into a special place to come and stay. If you want some peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Sitting in the hot tub, overlooking the lake is a blissful way to enjoy a glass of wine...

« Absolutely loved our quick little get away. Lovely remote area and amazing for stars at night. The cottage was a good size even with a toddler running about. The welcome basket was a saving grace and loved the bara brith (ordered more to take home as gifts too). We went into Llandeilo which had not many but lovely shops and on one of our days drove for about an hour to get to folly Farm. It was nice and relaxed and the hot tub was so comfy. « I had a really nice stay at this guesthouse. It is kind of old-fashioned, but not rundown. A lot of decorations reminiscent of Carmarthen's past as well as of the place itself. A place you could maybe have found the same 30 or 40 years ago and well-maintained eversince. I really loved the mood. Also, the owners are really super nice, kind and welcoming. "Probably this hôtel has seen better days but it is actually well maintained, besides some scratches in the carpets and broken screws. The façade is currently being renovated. It is very well located in Swansea and easy to find It was quite empty so rather calm when we were here. The plus is definetly the extra super friendly and helpful staff. At the front desk and for the breakfast we had a wonderful experience, the people where super friendly and helpful. We had a very nice price so it's a good value deal. Would recommend."
