Welcome to Ty Cwtch, a stylish single-storey bungalow within walking distance of Cardiff city centre. "Cwtch" is the Welsh word for a cuddle, and that is the feeling we have built it around: warm oak tones, comfortable beds and everything you need to settle in, whether you are here for a match, a gig, work or a weekend away.

THE SPACE
The open-plan living area has a smart TV and a comfortable double sofa bed, so the bungalow works well for couples, friends or a small family.

The kitchen has an oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, along with all the crockery, cookware and utensils you need to cook proper meals. We leave tea, coffee and sugar out for your arrival.

The bedroom has a king-size bed, smart TV, wardrobe and Alexa, plus a desk and chair if you need to get some work done.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower with a low-level tray and a grab rail.

Outside, the private patio has a pergola for shelter and a heater for cooler evenings. It is a lovely spot for a morning coffee or a glass of wine at the end of the day.

ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility matters to us, so here are the details. Inside, the bungalow is all on one level. There is one step up at the front door. There is a ramp at the rear, but it is narrow and the doorways are standard width, so the bungalow is not suitable for wheelchair users. The shower tray is low level with no step up, and there is a grab rail in the shower. There is no grab rail beside the toilet. Lighting is dimmable and the light switches are colour-contrasted to make them easier to see. Assistance dogs are very welcome. If you have particular access needs, send us a message before you book and we will gladly answer any questions.

LOCATION
Ty Cwtch is on a residential street within walking distance of Cardiff city centre and its shops, bars and restaurants. Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium and Cardiff City Stadium are all reachable on foot, which makes it ideal for match days and concerts. Cardiff Central station is close by for trains across Wales and beyond, and Cardiff Bay, Penarth and Barry Island are an easy trip for a day out.

ARRIVAL
Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 10am. Your door code is emailed to you on the day of arrival. Enter the code on the keypad and press # to unlock.

GOOD TO KNOW
• No parties, events or commercial photography
• Please keep noise down, as this is a quiet residential street
• No pets, but assistance dogs are welcome
• Sorry, we are unable to provide a cot
