Bella Riposa - Camps Bay

Summary:
Bella Riposa is a beautiful 5-bedroom, three storey holiday villa located in the heart of Camps Bay with views of the Atlantic Ocean and Lions Head.

The Space:
There is ample entertainment space on the upstairs and downstairs terraces, with a private garden at the bottom of the property, large swimming pool and wood-fired hot tub - perfect for a summer stay in Camps Bay.

Natural sunlight floods the whole house, giving it a beautifully warm summer feel. The decor is neutral, fresh and white adding to the ambience of space and tranquillity.

On the first level, you'll find 4 comfortable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - 1 en-suite bathroom connected to the master bedroom and 1 family bathroom shared by the other bedrooms. The master bedroom has a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean, a large en-suite bathroom and ample cupboard space. Bedroom 2, 3 and 4 share a family bathroom. The 5th bedroom is situated just off the dining area and boasts it’s own en-suite bathroom.

The upstairs area offers guests a fully equipped, newly renovated kitchen and comfortable dining area with glass stacking doors that open out on to the upper patio area. Here guests can enjoy an alfresco meal or sundowner while marvelling at the spectacular sea views.

The middle level has a spacious lounge area with TV and wood burning fireplace.

The ground level hosts the entertainment area with it’s own full bathroom and shower. There is a pool table, comfy couches and bar counter plus stackable doors that lead out to the pool deck and wood-fired hot tub area.

Please keep in mind this is an older Camps Bay home, lending itself to larger outdoor spaces which is a rarity in the area. This house is best suited to the unfussed traveller who would like a central base in Camps Bay with beautiful views from which to spend their days exploring the Mother City.

Rates for 2025/26 have been significantly reduced due to ongoing construction next door to the property. The construction noise levels may vary from extremely noisy to completely quiet, and we cannot provide any guarantees regarding this. By accepting the rate and proceeding with your booking, please be aware that no further compensation will be offered upon arrival or during your stay due to the construction. – May 2024

Getting Around:
MyCiTi is Cape Town’s modern, scheduled bus service, and an easy way to get around the city. Current routes link the Airport and central Cape Town with Camps Bay and Clifton, all you need is your Myconnect card preloaded with money, which you can do at any MyCiti station or select retailer. Alternatively, one of the easiest ways to get around is by Uber. Just download the app on your smartphone, register, and start using it straight away. The best part is that you register yourself with your credit card details, so you don’t need to always have cash on you to be able to catch a ride.

Bella Riposa was just perfect as our pre-wedding accommodation- perfect location, safe neighbourhood, clean and modern. Special mention goes to the reservation team who provided an exceptional service throughout our stay.

Review

The property was fine. The bottom shower did not work at all. The insides have dividers amongst every room, and one tends to trip over them. The glass that is on the uppder deck is loose and potential of someone falling. The pool needs to be redone. The alarm system is to complicated and would go off constantly. Paying for this place took a few thousand emails. The communication for this rental was really hard and inconsistent to say the least. You should publish the load shedding schedules in advance so that the guests can prepare to be ready before and after while on vacation. The view was amazing, but the logisitics not so great. We will not be using turnkey again. The gardener just showed up with no key, and wanted me to let him in. I did not know who this person was. We just happened to be home for a minute. I was not about to let this person roam around the property while we were there or had to step out. The manager never told us this was scheduled. You should print out instructions to the guests in the operation of the place. It is very diffocult to remember all of the information when you check in and tired from the traveling. Very stressful using this property.
