Welcome to this charming 2-bedroom home in the quaint coastal town of Fish Hoek, nestled within the breathtaking landscapes of Cape Town's Southern Peninsula. Discover a warm and inviting space that offers the perfect blend of relaxation and comfort, catering to families and work-from-home guests alike. With its prime location and well-appointed spaces, this property promises an unforgettable stay that will leave you longing for your next visit.

FYI: the house is busy under-going a "redecorate" to become the Fish Hoek Funk House. We are adding a lot more colour. Unfortunately it does take time and there have been some weather delays but the house has all amenities and it still awesome to stay at especially with the fireplace in winter! 2nd room complete, lounge/kitchen awaiting art etc.

Step inside our open-plan lounge and dining area, where you'll be greeted by a fireplace that invites cozy evenings spent with loved ones. The fully equipped kitchen ensures that every meal becomes a delightful culinary experience, providing all the amenities you need to feel at home. Enjoy shared moments over dinner, or simply unwind in the sunroom area, creating cherished memories with your family and friends.

Outside, our property boasts a salt water splash pool and dining area, perfect for soaking up the sun, taking a refreshing dip, and lounging in the shade with a good book. The serene outdoor space offers an idyllic setting for both relaxation and productivity, making it an ideal choice for guests seeking a tranquil work-from-home environment.

Should you require a baby cot to be set up, please let us know in advance.

To curb the affects of loadshedding, the owner has installed a battery set up for lights and certain plug points. Nothing in the kitchen is on the battery set up but lights, the internet and certain plug points are. He has also installed gas heaters for the hot water. The shut off valve for this is located outside, under the kitchen window.

Important: Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.

Please no 3rd party bookings unless you are an authorised company booking for employees and by reserving for a 3rd party guest, you agree that you will be held responsible for any and all damages or injuries to the guest or the property.

For long stay guests: we offer a change of linen and towels after 7 days. We can assist with an in-stay clean at an additional cost. This will be communicated should the service be needed, once you check in.

Please note due to the self catering nature of this property, amenities will not be replenished during your stay. You are welcome to purchase should you run out.

-----Longbeach: very flat so perfect for SUPping, kayaking, learning to scuba dive and to just relax
-----WatersEdge: a secret beach! Great for swimming as it's surround by a reef and it's very sheltered from winds.
-----Windmill beach: great from snorkeling and diving

PLEASE NOTE the following:
the area is a quiet neighbourhood and as such we have to request that you please respect the neighbours of Fish Hoek. No loud music and shouting after 11pm on weekends and 9pm in the week would be greatly appreciated. This is a NO PARTY venue!

The Neighborhood:
Fish Hoek is a charming coastal town located on the Cape Peninsula in South Africa. Known for its picturesque beaches, scenic mountains, and tranquil atmosphere, Fish Hoek offers visitors a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. The town is also home to a variety of local shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions, making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike.

Getting Around:
Although the house is central, we believe that it would be better to rent a car HOWEVER, Uber is available in the area. There are grocery delivery apps if you decide not to hire a car and rather use Uber. Uber just won't take you inside Cape Point etc but there are tours available for that. The house is also about a 10 min walk to the train station and the blue train is awesome, safe and clean. This train will take you all the way to the CBD for an extraordinarily low price of around R20 return per ticket.

- no pets
- lost keys = R500 replacement fee
