Villa delle Viole is an elegant and welcoming two-story apartment that is part of a villa immersed in a splendid landscape, in a lovely little hamlet. It sleeps ten people. From Villa delle Viole you will enjoy a charming view of the surrounding hills, the hamlet and the greenery. Villa delle Viole is 200 square meters (2150 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private terrace, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 7.5 km (4.7 miles) from the historical center of Lucca, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the closest restaurant at 300 meters (990 feet), a grocery store at 4 km (roughly 2.5 miles), the bus stop at 170 meters (560 feet) and the closest beach (Vecchiano beach) at 32 km (roughly 20 miles).
You will reach Villa delle Viole from the parking area going up a route that includes approximately ten stairway steps.
For a successful stay at Villa delle Viole we recommend having a car. You will be able to park it free of charge inside the entrance gate. The parking space is suitable for up to three or four (depending on size) cars.

The apartment covers the entire first floor and second floor of the villa. On the bottom floor of the building resides the owner, in an apartment with separate entrance.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 6 meters (20 feet) large by 12 meters (39 feet) long, 1.4 meters (4.6 feet) deep. It is filled with sea water. The area is equipped with a table, chairs, sun umbrellas, sun loungers, a gazebo and an external shower. This area is also equipped with armchairs. By the pool you will also find a bathroom which is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower. The swimming pool area is partly shaded by a roof. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a lovely view of the surrounding hills, the hamlet and the greenery. The pool is open from the end of May until the end of September.
Top LevelTerrace
The terrace is 50 square meters (540 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a gazebo. It is equipped with a sofa and two armchairs, as well as with a table, chairs and a sun umbrella. Here you will also find a barbecue. From the terrace you will enjoy a fascinating view of the greenery and of the other buildings.
Living Room 1
The first living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling is sloped and has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming, and include two sofas and armchairs. There is a small fireplace, for decorative purposes only. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker and a kettle. There is also a washing machine (hidden in a cabinet), an iron and an ironing board. The dining table can accommodate ten guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The room has two windows, as well as two Juliet balconies. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 1
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a bedroom chair. The room has a window, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bathroom 1
The first bathroom is tiled with lucid antique-pink majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room.
Bottom LevelLiving Room 2
The second living room is paved with tiles with inlaid designs. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are elegant, and include a sofa and an armchair. In this room you will find an upright piano (please contact us before making your reservation if you plan to use the piano, as we need to make sure that it is in working order). There is a small fireplace made of bricks, for decorative purposes only. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). The room has a window.
Bedroom 2
You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the living room. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a sofa and an armchair. From the bedroom you will be able to enter a small balcony through a French door. The room also has two windows, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 3
You will be able to enter the third bedroom through a corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a bedroom chair. The room has two windows, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 4
You will be able to enter the fourth bedroom through a corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 5
You will be able to enter the fifth bedroom through a corridor. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches). The room has a window, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
