« Property was lovely and totally suited our needs - no fighting over rooms as they were all spacious with lovely en-suites !! Check in was hassle free with an entrance code. Tea coffee and milk was supplied. There were a few stains on the sofas but everything else was spotless. »

« The landlady was very helpful and we even got a coupon from gardener’s world to visit gardens for half price. We could eat the plums and apples from the trees. On arrival there were flowers and a welcome package of essentials. She was the best landlady you could have. »

« We hebben een fantastische 9 dagen vakantie gehad in de stallen. Een erg vriendelijk en behulpzame gastvrouw. bij aan komst een heerlijk welkomst pakket en een heerlijk flesje wijn. Voor iedereen die een fan is van de National trust is dit de ideale accommodatie alles is op korte afstand bereikbaar en een rustpunt na een dag in de English Country. Donald en Anneke (Holland) »

« Very nice house, clean, calm, comfortable ... »

« A lovely cottage with everything we needed. »

« Very comfortable house, easy for 6 people, well equipped kitchen. Hospitable hosts. Is a barn so there's some spiders and flies. But overall great house. Quite area, lovely views. »

« Beautiful cottage in an amazing setting - ideal for people who don’t want to use their cars once there! Communication with Skykes Cottages was very process heavy tho - we received so many useless emails before the booking, then during the trip there was so many different people to talk to for every problem. They took time to help. They don’t reply to WhatsApp for Hours tho they say to contact you there. Some improvements needed there to make it seamless please 🙏 »
