« The house was simply amazing and our host was helpful, communicative and went above and beyond to ensure a good stay. The photos do not do justice to the inside of the home and it's cleanliness. The location is remote enough that you feel like a local and can get out of the crowds and hustle or La Fortuna, but close enough to get to activities in a timely manner. The home was well stocked with clean towels and bedding and the rooms and amenities were just as described, yet better!I cannot...

« Beautiful property, great host who was very responsive. Only opportunity to improve is the directions and branding of the property. Arrived in the night and the house is in a remote area of CR. Ensure your prepared for spotty cell service close to the home. That said it's worth finding, absolutely beautiful. »

« We were traveling with large family and this was great place for us. I think having them two attached but separate unit provided night time seclusion. We enjoyed sitting outside as there was ample chairs outside for entire family to sit and enjoy the weather. If we are traveling back to area, will definitely look for this place. »

« Beautiful property. House and grounds are clean and very well equipped. Caretaker is an amazing person. Only issue any of us had were the beds are old and worn. Otherwise it's a great place in a great location (quiet, yet close to everything the Fortuna area has to offer). »

« The home and grounds were beautiful and very clean. Delvis was friendly and eager to help us schedule activities and provide information. In the yard we saw as many as 4 toucans in the tree at one time. We also saw the sloth. The location is convenient to La Fortuna and area attractions. We are glad that we choose to stay at this house rather than one of the nearby resorts. »

We had intended to go out for more dinners, but found ourselves really enjoying cooking at home, hanging by the pool, playing games and taking in the whole vibe of the beautiful home and scenery. Everything was wonderfully clean and well-appointed, had everything we needed. If you are thinking about booking Villa Laurel, do it!! You will be grateful! »

« It was a great place to stay, albeit difficult to initially find the place.The directions using google were not great, the link using waze was broken, and the messages regarding check-in never came through.However, after finding the place and settling in - we really enjoyed our stay there & would consider it again in the future. It was nice to have a washing machine & my nephew thoroughly enjoyed the pool. »

« The host generously stocked this newly built house. She welcomed us with fresh coconut and gave us a tour of the house. She was always available when we had questions and gave us tips for visiting several places of interest. Comfortable bedding, brand new kitchen and appliances. This is truly a gem with the view of volcano in La Fortuna. »
