« Loved the house. Only problem was our phone didn't work once we left the house as wifi didn't travel very far. Would recommend getting a Costa Rica sims card before you arrive which would solve communication problems. I must say, the mattress on my bed was fantastic. First time in years where I didn't wake up with my back hurting. Enjoyed watching birds on the patio. »

« We had a great time at FINCA el Refugio de Papito. The experience will stay with our family forever. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a Pura Vida experience. Whether it was fishing in the pond, seeing the sloths, macaws, iguanas, turtles or herons it was fantastic. Their offers of fresh coconut, plantains, and fresh cane juice were well received. « Check in was easy, pretty spot and view. Needed to use the back patio during the heat of the day until the sun went down, because the direct sun in the front area is intense. We were surprised the sliding doors and all windows did not have screens, but it wasn't too bad. Our biggest issue was the refrigerator wasn't funcioning properly, and the toaster and coffee maker were also not working. « Nice room with lots of storage around the bed. Complete kitchenette and laundry room with cute washer. Bathroom is decent. Close to everything as advertised. A bit noisy some nights but otherwise great little place. Not for the picky traveler. Definitely comfortable little apartment. »

« Nous avons eu le très grand bonheur d'admirer la vue magnifique tout autour de la maison et de goûter à la sérénité du lieu. Réveillés par le chant des oiseaux nous avons pleinement profité de notre location en nous installant, au gré du soleil, sur les différentes terrasses. la piscine, au retour de nos excursions, ou tôt le matin était également un plaisir. Nous recommandons cette location où rien n'a manqué pour notre confort. »

« This is a great place to stay if you want to be near San José for a few days. We wanted to be near the airport to pick someone up in the evening and it was less than 30 minutes away. The house is spacious and has good wifi and there is a nice garden around the house. We stayed for a few days to explore San José and it's easy to get an Uber to the city center if you don't want to drive there. Martin and Christian were very good at communicating and accommodating our check in and check out times....
