Chambre sur route, très bruyante. Par ailleurs la climatisation dégageait une odeur désagreable de moisissure, donc nous ne l avons pas utilisée. Le petit déjeuner est moyen. Points positifs : chambre propre, literie confortable.

The women who owns this motel is exceptional at running it. My boyfriend and I had to get a room last minute due to experiencing altitude sickness and she stayed up past the normal 11pm check in time just to make sure we got in our room. Our room was very clean. Breakfast was better than imagined, I believe the muffins were homemade. Overall was a comforting 5-star experience.

The staff was so helpful and welcoming. I didn’t even realize when booking how close we were to the train and the historic downtown. Lots of walkable spots. The breakfast was amazing with fresh made waffles and lots of options. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

Typically don’t stay at independent properties, however, this older property was maintained very well. Able to park just outside door. Checked in early with Ermina who was just a delight. Great view of mountains and park as well.

The view was beautiful and the woman working there was so nice. Clean rooms and very spacious. We will be using this establishment again on our next gold adventure for sure!!!

It was VERY clean (we always check for bed-bugs---NONE!), very nicely appointed, had everything we needed and more. Only complaint might be better towels, but they were typical. Easy location, pretty park right across the street (hence, the name). VERY nice lady checked us in and was generous. Would definitley stay here again!!

This is a cute property with sweet little rooms, all well-equipped and clean. The owner is extremely helpful, professional and friendly. It is my go-to place to stay when I am in Canon City.

The owner was charming and very friendly. Room was exceptionally clean, beds are comfortable and the sheets were soft. Will definitely stay here again when visiting again.

Wonderfully located across the street from the Royal Gorge train depot and on the same route to the Royal Gorge amusement park, it is a great hotel in the perfect spot!

Review is for 2 queen beds room. Nice sized room, enough space to organize stuff on floor, lots of lights, room bright, plenty of receptacles for charging or connecting electronics. Large table for computer with two chairs plus two other seats. Sink in same room as toilet and shower. Balconies with some rooms. Good presentation of continental breakfast with adequate choices of cereal, breads, pastries, and juices. Royal Gorge train station across the street. Wi-Fi very good. Parking could be a little tight and may be difficult to park next to room if you get in late and hotel is full. Definitely a good value and would stay there again if in area.

A very good room at a reasonable price with continental breakfast included. Comfortable bed / pillows. Close to Main St with a good range of dining options - walkable. The only major downside was that the motel is right next to the R50 road. The air conditioning unit was quite noisy but when we tried switching it off and opening the window - the road noise was horrendous.

This was our second time staying here and we love the location to downtown and the ability to walk to dining and hang out areas. Always clean and the breakfast is really good with a sit down area as well

Had issues with the TV receiving the wifi in room #2; there is no cable, only streaming; the wifi signal in that room was inconsistent to nonexistent. Pat moved us to another room the next morning, no problems with the TV there. Thanks Pat! The breakfast options are pretty limited, mostly carbs, no bananas, and ran out of yogurt with the staff saying they had a hard time finding some items. WalMart is full of yogurt.
