Girls Trip

This condo is in a fantastic location and is great for friends or family. However, the living room only seats a few and the one chair was falling apart. The cover on the cushion was ripped and kept sliding off. The downstairs bedrooms had a strong sewage smell and the shower curtain doesn’t fit the so every shower left water on the floor.

Great place for families!

Great home and location in Cannon Beach! We loved that there were 2 masters with king beds, and 3 full baths. We were 2 couples and a single. The unit was very well appointed and comfortable. Parking was right out the door and we were close to a market and the beach. Would highly recommend to anyone looking in the area.

Great condo

Spacious, clean, quiet, safe and close to beach. The unit should be numbered, was charged $165 for late check out (2pm instead of 10am) our flight wasn’t until 11pm. Never had to pay for late check out before this stay. Highly recommend the unit!

Plumbing needs fixing.

Living room and kitchen too small. King bed not very comfortable. Two screen doors were broken. Toilet leaked and refilled all night long. Started the dishwasher, and water leaked all over the floor!

Not a good location, safe or well-maintained property

The location in back behind some other condos, down a in an area close to the main road 101 and the "walk" to the beach was across a main road and not safe to consider as "beach access". The parking was tight and I was driving a Subaru not a truck or large SUV. The exterior security lighting was not working in the parking area. When we arrived we found the following, which I detailed and documented with photos to the management team via text upon arrival. They offered to send someone over to address them but that would interrupt our stay for items that should have been done before our arrival. The main entry door is under some stairs and upon arrival we noticed that there were a number of Key boxes around the entry way of the property which was concerning as to how many people had access to the unit. The upstairs main bedroom bathroom had hair and dirt in the drawers, and the shower was stained with an odd shower head. The bedroom didn't have any place for luggage and the deck had the screen door sitting on the patio not on the rails. The main living area had a sign warning that the deck was not usable and there were no curtains. We accidentally kicked the up the corner of the rug and found hair, dirt and sand under it, and it didn't look like it had been cleaned for quite some time. We noticed more light bulbs missing or not working. Some of the lamps didn't work and while checking to see if they were even plugged in we found broken plug plate covers exposing wires underneath. The downstairs main bedroom bathroom was dirty, the counter tops were dirty and when I looked for cleaning supplies I found where someone had thrown paint, and other miscellaneous items. Most of that we could have dealt with, although we were very disappointed, when we went to lock the exterior doors to secure the property at night, remember all the key boxes I mentioned outside?, we found that there was no internal locking devices to secure the doors and prevent anyone from entering. We didn't feel safe spending even a night so had to find other lodging at great cost and inconvenience.

Historical Beach nearby

Excellent location, right by the main business street and beach. It is not your typical beach with a lot of stores around the block but it is a quick drive up the cliff to the multiple stores nearby. It does have 2 restaurants and a grocery store less than 2 blocks. Fireplaces were awesome, and everything you need is available in the kitchen. If your looking for a place by haystack that has 3 rooms this is the place. I enjoyed the place with my friends and have no complaints. Great location.

Cute place and great location!

Very cute and more space than I thought. Check in was super easy. Our kiddos were SO excited to pick a room. Kitchen and house was well stocked. TVs weren’t working even after I re connected them to internet. I messaged vacasa about it and maintenance came and fixed them within a couple hours. It was raining our entire stay so it was necessary. We would stay here again.

Beware of gas leak/management company

While the property itself was well represented, there were a few safety issues that concerned me having a crawling baby. There was a gas leak in the downstairs bedroom, piles of cords in the corners of several rooms, electrical outlets with partial/broken or no plates, broken baby gate, noisy floors and neighbors which is probably more of an insulation issue. Overall, the property feels like a quick flip job for rental purposes and while it was mostly clean, it wasn't a "relax and hangout" type of place. The most disappointing part of the stay was dealing with a gas leak in the downstairs bedroom with zero communication or help from Vacasa. Upon arrival we realized a gas smell in the downstairs bedroom. We evacuated and called Vacasa for further instruction and were connected to an international call center that would not put us in contact with any local contact. Ultimately, they said they would dispatch a local maintenance company to come take a look. While waiting in the parking lot, we decided to call the local gas company ourselves and they dispatched someone to come inspect the issue. While we were waiting the local maintenance man came and offered to wait for gas company while we grabbed a bite to eat in town. Long story short, by the time we got back to the unit (around 6:30pm, baby's bedtime) there was nobody there. We called Vacasa again looking for an update and the international call center refused to let me talk to someone local but said someone was on their way to the property now...spoiler alert NO ONE showed up! Again while waiting for someone to show up we contacted the gas company again looking for an update. They informed us of the found leak and that for the time being the property was secure but there was a notice of needed repairs left at the property. By this time I was pretty irritated and didn't feel sure about staying there for the night. Ultimately, as it was getting late and no other hotel availability in town we spoke with the gas company, and felt confident enough that it was safe to stay the night. We have yet to receive even a phone call from anyone at Vacasa. I cannot believe we had to be the ones to deal with this issue. While I understand issues happen even while on vacation, a gas leak is a big deal and if we had not made the calls to the local companies that we did, the issue would not have been dealt with at all. I am so disappointed with Vacasa.

The property had Several things broken - toilet leaking, light fixtures not working, freezer was leaking, stove had no overhead lights, and the unit was located next to the freeway, so if you want to open a window or sliding door, be prepared for the noise.

Wonderful

Tolovana Park was a fabulous place to stay! So close to the beach, next door to a little grocery store, and just perfect for the family vacation. Everything at the house was so comfortable and the added bonus of being set up for children/infants AND the beach was just what we needed! They had practically everything you needed for a young kid--high chair, pack-n-play, as well as a crib AND everything you need for the beach--chairs, kites, wagon to haul everything, sand toys, etc. We loved our time and would stay here again!
