Easter in Canmore!

Communication with the manager and booking through VRBO was fantastic. The location, view from the balcony, space and price were all on point. The pools were wonderful. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only critic we would give is that the cleanliness was less than our expectation. We had to change and wash bedding as there was black animal hair all over. The bathrooms were very clean, but everything else needed a sweep, change and wipe down. A positive on that was there was a washer and dryer in the unit and cleaning supplies that we were able to use. All in all 4 star. We would have given 5 if the unit would have been cleaned better.

Condo ok, elevator not ok.

Condo itself was OK. Our issue was with the elevator, it did not work the entire time we were there. And from speaking to staff and reading comments and reviews, apparently the elevator has not been operational for quite a while. We payed A premium dollar assuming the facilities would all be operational. Very disappointed that there was no elevator, given the fact that we have elderly family members and others with knee issues. Walking up and down the stairs several times a day is not our idea of a good vacation. We should have been informed regarding the non-operational elevator prior to our stay at this facility so that we could reevaluate and maybe decide to stay elsewhere. Or, we should get a discount for not having the elevator operational. Neither of these two factors existed.

Overall good place to stay, few minors things that need owner’s attention

Few minor things need owner’s attention such as guest room side light was missing a bulb, closet light was not coming on. Blinds in master bedroom window were missing a wand to open and close. Facility swimming area is not impressive, hot pool is large but the swimming pool was quite small.

Great for a ski weekend get away

The unit was quite well equipped and maintained. It was much appreciated that pets are allowed. There are nice partial view of the mountains from the unit. The building was having some issues with the elevator, parking garage door and other facilities. Overall, a good visit and would stay again.

Ski Vacation Headquarters

Great condo for staying in for a ski vacation in the Banff area, or anytime you want to visit Canmore/Banff and enjoy the splendour of the Rocky Mountains and everything else that this magnificent part of the country has to offer. The location is perfect - walking distance to town centre - and the view from the deck is priceless. We really enjoyed our stay, and the owner/host is top notch.

Christmas in Canmore 2021

The property is nice, clean and in a good location. The main problem with our trip was that the elevator failed during check-in and my son and I were stuck in the elevator for 1 and a half hours. Management kept saying that a technician was coming but they never arrived. Finally one of our family members called 911 and we were finally rescued by the fire department. This was on Xmas Eve. The elevator (there is only one elevator in this complex) remained out of service for our entire stay. We had to carry luggage, Xmas gifts, groceries etc. up and down six flights of stairs. This was difficult for some family members. There were three fireplaces of which only one worked. I made the owner aware of these issues and his response was 'thanks for letting me know'. As it is quite an expensive rental property, I was expecting an offer of some reduction in price due to these issues, but none was forthcoming. I will not be booking this property again in future.

Canmore getaway

Great spot for 1 to 2 couples to get away for a few days and spend time in the mountains. Excellent accomodations in Canmore and just a short drive to Banff. Underground parking and park pass were a nice bonus.

Nice Break in the mountains

Was a super busy weekend in town (it was the long weekend), so stayed pretty close to the property. Tub and shower with jets was great; whole place was clean and inviting. Decided to stay in for dinner one night, used the barbeque - had everything we needed! Would recommend to anyone who asked

Christmas Getaway

Overall we had a very good Christmas in the Rockies. If you are staying at this property and want peace and quiet, it may not be for you. There were lots of children playing in the hallway and people with dogs barking. It was not a big deal for us but some may not like it. The condo is nice and comfortable, the furniture is showing signs of wear and tear but was comfortable enough. Unfortunately, we picked the weekend that there was problems with the hot water system. We were told there was a problem with a switch that was preventing the water from getting hot so no hot baths or shower, we boiled water to do the dishes. The problem has been corrected and hot water supply is back to normal. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property to others.
